HDD Questions

Hi guys, I got some questions regarding HDD. I have 1 hdd at home, made a few partitions, for OS, games, movies etc. Recently bought new pc, with 1 ssd. Plan to install OS in ssd and make it primary(is this correct?) and hdd secondary(again, correct?)

If this is the case, will I see ssd, lets say, (C:) and my hdd (D:)?
Then if I press (D:), I can see the subfolders as I mentioned above(os, games, movies, etc).
If these are not correct, what should I set it during boot so that I can access all the files like I mentioned.

And I want to use windows key from hdd to put in ssd. Can I just reformat the os partition in my hdd or I need to reformat the whole hdd?

Dota 2 Freeze on new pc

Hai guys, I build a new pc yesterday and I installed Steam and Dota 2. Whenever it goes to the main menu, less than 3 minutes it will freeze. I can do anything. Alt+F4, Ctrl+Alt+Delete, all of it is useless. It just stuck there. No sound, nothing. What is the cause? I try to play another game and it works fine. PLease help me
