Cheating partner

Hi, would like to know if anyone out there can share some insights. I am in a long term relationship for 10 years. Just recently, my partner asked for a time off to reevaluate the relationship. There were many issues swept under carpet, but each time I asked him, he just clamps up. I know he has had flings before, and I thought that was the end of it when he said he has stopped those flings, but once again he betrayed my trust. He said he couldn't resist temptation and slept with someone else during the time off period. I was just speechless.

It hurts when I knew about this but what is done is done. He almost call it quits as he was pulled by his negative emotions and the girl was there to comfort him and gave him whatever that our relationship is lacked off. After coming to a realization he said he willing to put effort in our relationship.

I am willing to give the relationship a second chance even though it is very hard to do. I know I have to forgive and heal in order for me to move on. But each time the thought of him and the girl crosses my mind, I blamed him for the pain and grief he caused me. It is also causing me so much hurt when I think of the place he and the girl made out.

I don't know how long does the healing take, or will I ever be heal but I want to know how to move on from here. Or how can he help me heal from the wound...
