Hey, just wondering if anyone can help me do an exchange for a working shirt which my gf bought for me. I received the gift yday as my bday is today. She bought it 2 weeks back and accidentally bought the wrong size of 33 1/2 instead of 32 1/2.

The store staff refused to change it as they keep saying its their policy. I mean come on, only few days after 2 weeks also cannot meh.

Anyone has any idea how can i change it?

Why are we taken advantage of? Because our bonds and faith in other races are weak. Simple as that. Instead of thinking as Malaysian, all are thinking in terms of races.

No matter how good a race is, there bound to be few drops of inkling which spoilt the milk.

Smart people are taking this as an opportuny to cause racial tension. Who is right who is wrong is no longer and issue because it is shadowed by the racial tension. So what if the salesman really does cheat? So what if the Malay really does steal? It doesn't at all justify what is happening now.

Certain parties is smart enough to see this as an opportunity. Don't be ammoshafed by them pls.

Hi guys, anyone has any experience and also advices on this company (Aquilas Advisory Sdn Bhd)? Received an invitation for an interview for the position Consultant.

I know the jobscope is smth like Investor Relation. But what do they do actually? Do they analyse financial data? or merely interviewing and writing down notes and information? On top of that, how is the culture? The working environment? The people there?

Any advices & information is deeply appreciated!

Hi all,

I am currently considering whether to enter audit firm as an external auditor or not. The reason is because most of the job that i want was mostly rejected during interview because they told me i lack of accounting knowledge. I studied risk management and finance in my degree. Graduated recently.

My field of interest is research analyst/corporate finance. I dont mind working late and stuff but they told my flaw is that i didnt took accounting.

My friend recommended me to go in as auditor as it allows me to gain practical experience on accounting and then only apply corporate finance etc. She also told me there is an auditor department for non-accounting student (is there really such a thing?)

SO what is your advice guys? Should i
1) Continue applying until i get corporate finance/research analyst
2) Do not think and just become an auditor to learn practical experience on accounting

Career in DHL- Risk Credit Collection

Hi anyone has worked in DHL before? Got an invitation for interview for the position which has the jobscope of analyzing the customers performance and giving recommendation whether or not to extend credit facilities to them.

The way they describe is more towards risk management but I do not feel any risk management role except just screening through the customer's history and see whether or not are the reliable. Anyone would elaborate more and enlighten me?

What are the challenges, the roles, the culture and also compensation + benefits expectation?

Resigned without a job

I have recently resigned from bank and are now looking for new job (after 7 months into the job, i resigned before the bonus and also increment. Please dont judge me for leaving before bonus). I am a fresh graduate by the way.

I have some questions for the HR Managers in this forum if you all do not mind.
1) Will companies all be skeptical on why i leave before having a job? As in does it gives a negative impression on the fact that i resigned without a job? I mean why would it be negative to resign without a job?

2) I am one month into unemployment due to i have rejected a few offers from other company for a company. Later on they(the company which offered me) told me they found a new candidate after i agree to accept their offer. Is it even legal to do that? Its my fault tho to reject other offers without having an offer letter in my hand. How can i convince other HR manager that i actually has a job offer before and not that i failed to go for interview or no one wants to interview me?

3) Anyone mind to have a look at my CV? i have amended it few times and change the template and all but it seems after i have rejected few companies i no longer have anymore offer coming in. Do they blacklist us if we reject their offer?

Which path should I pursue

I recently graduated in July 2014 and worked in a bank under risk management for 7 months. I found this job to be quite dull and I wanted to have more exposures.

My CGPA is 3.55/4 in Financial risk management and banking finance from Victoria Uni in Melbourne. I have Passed CFA level 1 in December 2014 and I am very interested in landing a job in asset management/investment banking one day.

My question is that, if I wish to step into that field, which and where should I soak myself in for the first five to ten years to beef up and prepare myself for that? Should I expose myself to advisory firm first? Or corporate finance boutique firm? Bank? Management Trainee?

I didn't apply aggressively for investment bank as I know my standard is not there yet. Have been applying mainly on advisory firms first. Am I on the right path or is there any better options? Thank you.

HI all, i have been invited for an interview with Royal Index LLC in Kuala Lumpur.

Does anyone know/come across any friends working in there? How is the environment and challenges in the job itself?

I have done some research and most of the comments are negative about the company. However the company that were complained were based in Dhubai and i cant get any information in Kuala Lumpur's branch.

Would appreciate any inputs or advices regarding this matter.
