I am about to complete my attachment with a foreign bank this April 5th 2013.

During my tenure, I am attach with the Head of Financial Institution Coverage, at the same time I also have been taking chances to assist Head of Debt Capital Market, Head of Credit Management and a Product Manager in the day to day work.

I'm looking for a permanent job as an assistant relationship manager. Please let me know if there's any openings.

Hey guys,

ther hav been few post about investment banking but there wer so random tat i wan to start new one.

GUYS! may I know what are the financial institution in Malaysia offering graduate program w/ good training and exposure that is needed in the investment banking career (e.g. other than CIMB the complete banker program)?

name the bank and the program they offer.
maybe share wat are the agendas in the program have for graduates ?
And when is ther intake for 2012 ?

(By far i only know this is the only good one in M'sia)

How Far can I go

I was hoping to know how far I can go choosing this career choice Investment Banker.

About to graduate with a Bach in acounting n finance from Unpopular college, my result is moderate about "B flat".

My vision is very vivid, I would start as analysts if am allowed which is to advance in front office role later. As Analysts means to get me more exposure and building up the experience.

but Should I b'ware of wat analysts ther r? I tot ther's only 1 bt den i c, credit analysts, equity analysts n few more?

How far can I go base on ur expertise opinion that my quantitative skills is weak or did the bank just make all this up as if MAThs is the core to success in Investment banking? My calculation is weak, but not PARALYZED (usually people mixup between weak and "Cacat", can improve with practice.

If its hard to get to the Front Office my plan B is to move to other position which are close enough to the Front office experience or expertise

Please recomend which one in middle or back office role which have higher chance of me to get in investment bank so I can build my experience there up to the front office role? thanks in advance
