Wifi "No internet" randomly

Hi guys, I've been facing a very weird issue with my Lenovo laptop's WiFi. When I connect to "some" SSID, the connection will drop out after few minutes or few hours. It is connected but it says "No internet". So it randomly goes off, and then randomly comes back also. If lucky, wait few minutes then ok. If not lucky few days also cannot. Forget network and connect back also no use. So the thing is, it's not a problem with my laptop because when that happens then I turn on hotspot on my phone then i can connect to my phone non stop without issue. It is also not a problem with the Wifi because my other phones can connect to it without problem also. Super weird and I'm confused. I try forget network and connect again, restart, reinstall my wifi driver, even turn off my anti virus, try connect VPN, nothing works.

I'm having issues particularly with the wifi at an airbnb stay overseas and now at a hotel overseas also. 1 thing i do noticed is that this 2 places I have issues with has no password. Any idea why is this happening? Driving me crazy to keep using my roaming data.

Philips Dreamstation CPAP user

Hi guys, not too sure where to post this.

I've been diagnosed with sleep apnea since 2017 and was using Philips Dreamstation CPAP ever since. Everything is good, the machine really worked well in improving my sleep. Fast forward to last month where another user asking about sleep apnea in serious k and I only found out this Dreamstation CPAP machine has been causing deaths in USA since 2021.

Then I contacted the agent that sold me the machine, they reply "Oh we also just found out". Apparently they also having problem looking for Philips coz the entire manufacturing shut down already and this CPAP no longer in production. So agent suggest me move to another brand and ask me to pay more money. I don't think this is right? Btw these CPAP machine costs 8k and I have 2 of them due to I often travel. It's not even cheap and it's causing harm to my health and they still want me pay money? I should be paid compensation right?

Anyone using this machine or have any insights of what I can do now? Any health related department I can check with or something? Thanks.

Hi guys, any recommended camera shops in Klang Valley? The last I bought any gear was more than 10 years ago. That time YL camera Pudu is famous, seems like now in PJ also got branch. Same service in PJ? After checking some price, noticed Altech Camera at Time Square is super cheap. Trusted? Do recommend if got other shops.

Also, do these shops normally allow to test some gears before buying? Thanks.

Taking over old company laptop

Hi guys.. my company will change laptop for us every few years and will offer to sell us the laptop for a discounted price. However, IT seems pretty strict with alot of tracking stuff and then locking all USB ports, things like that. My question is are these restrictions/locking hardware based or software based? If I just format the HDD then it's like a brand new laptop? Or the locking is somehow related to hardware means I buy and format the laptop also got restrictions?

Let's say you receive a gift from someone special but it's food stuff like cookie and sweets. You don't want to eat it but just want to keep but I think it will go bad after a while. I have been using WISE a while to send money overseas. Rates pretty good. But I haven't used it to receive money. I have read FAQ and it says no charges but as always i don't really trust that.

Wondering any forummers here have personal experience receiving money on other currency? Do you get exact amount without any charge? What about convert that money to MYR and the withdraw the money out. Seems like many process and I'm not sure if it's entirely free.

1) Receive overseas funds - Free?
There are no fees to receive payments using your account details, with the exception of receiving US dollars domestic or SWIFT wires that cost $4.14 per transaction.

2) Convert to MYR - Not sure?

3) Withdraw MYR to cash - Free?
If your card was issued in Malaysia: You can take out money for free twice a month — as long as the total amount is under 1,000 MYR. But after that, we’ll charge you 5 MYR per transaction. This is a fixed fee. If you take out over 1,000 MYR in one month, we’ll charge you 1.75% on top of that.

Hi all, tried to search abit seems like there's no proper section for android smart watches. Only got for apple watch. Anyway I'm looking for a smart watch for my parents who are falling quite abit these days due to old age. Looking for 3 requirements:

1) Has good and reliable fall detection
2) Can alert or call another phone (my phone)
3) Must be able to stand alone (can insert sim inside?) as they dont have a smart phone to link to.

If apple watch can stand alone, can consider also. Is there any model that can fit the above requirement? Hope some sifu can share, thanks.

Hi all, just wondering if anyone entered Malaysia from overseas yesterday or today? I just checked MySJ the questionnaire still got "Have you been overseas for past 14 days". Last time if click yes then will straight kena PUS for 14 days. Wonder how is it now? They can't put us in PUS if no more quarantine. It will be very inconvenient.

I'm overseas for work and will be reaching home tmr night. Since gomen say no quarantine then I need work on Monday already. Can't move around if still got PUS. Anyone got experience?

Edit: So I reached home. I'll explain my experience step by step

Once touch down, before you could even get ouf of the 1st gate (before going into the hall way)
- There will be few staff blocking you to check your MySJ
- U need open app, main page click Traveler then fill in all your travel details. No one knows this and everyone just jammed there
- After fill in you will get a "travelers card" under your profile. Status remains low risk. In fact my status never changed to PUS or anything until now

At the center area before taking sky train
- There is 24/7 BP lab there for you to do RTK or PCR. All travelers must do a test within 24h of reaching, if not apparently you will get some other status.
- You can choose to do outside or here. I took is here because I want fast and can claim company. RTK for Malaysians is rm100. Foreigners and PCR cost more i don't know how much. Outside is obviously cheaper.
- I waited 15 minutes to get the result (no need to wait if you rushing). You will get result in whatsapp and email. My MYSJ updated in 12 hours

After this is just straight take sky train, take baggage and leave. No restrictions anymore. Can take grab, taxi whatever you want. I asked a few people of the main question I have in this topic which is "What do I fill in when I update my status everyday for the question "Have you traveled abroad within the last 14 days" and no one in the airport could answer me.

Anyone selling things to overseas?

Hi guys... dunno where to post this ... business/investment section seems too hardcore ... anyway i got some hobby stuff plan to sell to overseas, be it on IG or FB. Anyone got similar experience? I'm curious about:
1) Money transfer. Only PayPal? the fees is quite high right...for transfer and even for us to withdraw out
2) Shipping. Any cheap international transfer? I go easy parcel check a simple parcel less than 500grams to Canada is like almost 40USD lol ..

So basically selling anything cheaper than 100USD don't even make sense? I mean who would pay and item USD20 but shipping USD40?

Hi guys, hope u all can bare with me as I'm a PC noob. I use my home PC alot but may soon travel overseas for 2 months. I installed anydesk so I can remote to my desktop from outside and use it like normal. Question is, is it ok to leave my desktop running non stop for 2 months? Anything I need to take note? Only using for normal browsing, youtube and stuff though nothing heavy running. Need to put a fan behind my pc? Or any freeware to monitor temperature or something? Thanks.

Hi. I'm a guy that don't really care too much about facial. Done nothing special before just normal wash face. Of coz skin is not perfect but I'm ok with it.

Recently everyday wear mask (not sure if this is the problem) and notice sudden outbreak of acne/pimples and everything. It's alot and bad that it pops when I'm sleeping eww.

Any idea what i can do myself or go any place for wash? Prefer not those chains where say 1st visit free then 2nd visit ask u sign package few k those kind. I'm not looking for perfect skin, just don't burst when sleeping can already lol
