QUOTE

SOS

Dafuq man?!

Man-aconda - the snake that looks like a penis

QUOTE

BOFFINS in Brazil have discovered a new type of snake which - experts say resembles a male MANHOOD.
Experts came across the Atretochoana eiselti, which they dubbed the "floppy snake", as they examined a hydroelectric dam on a river in the Amazon.

Six of the eyeless creatures - actually a family of "blind snake" more closely related to the salamander - were found living at the bottom of the Madeira River in Brazil’s northern state of Rondonia.

The discovery was made in November last year as a stretch of the river was being drained, but was only made public today after the snake’s genus was finally confirmed.

Julian Tupan, biologist for the Santo Antonio Energy company which is building the dam, told Brazil’s Estadao website that hardly anything is known about the lungless, limbless amphibians.

He said: “Of the six we collected, one died, three were released back into the wild and another two were kept for studies.

“Despite looking like snakes, they aren’t reptiles and are more closely related to salamanders and frogs.

"We think the animal breathes through its skin, and probably feeds on small fish and worms, but there is still nothing proven.

“The Amazon is a box of surprises when it comes to reptiles and amphibians. There are still much more to be discovered.”

Penisconda

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Rugby player has a stroke after freak gym accident

QUOTE

When 19-stone rugby player Chris Birch suffered a stroke during a freak training accident, his family feared it would be a life-changing injury. Yet while his recovery certainly brought about a transformation, it seems to have been in a way no one could have expected.

For when he regained consciousness, the 26-year-old – who was engaged to his girlfriend – claimed he had become gay.

Mr Birch’s astonishing change saw him break up with his fiancée, ditch his job in a bank to retrain as a hairdresser and lose eight stone in weight.

He has now moved in with his 19-year-old boyfriend. The now ex-rugby player, a flanker with his local amateur reserve side, had been attempting a back flip in front of friends on a field when he fell down a grass bank, breaking his neck and suffering the stroke.

He was taken to hospital where his fiancée and family spent days waiting anxiously at his bedside before he delivered the shocking news.

Mr Birch recalled: ‘I was gay when I woke up and I still am. It sounds strange but when I came round I immediately felt different. ‘I wasn’t interested in women any more. I was definitely gay. I had never been attracted to a man before – I’d never even had any gay friends.

SOS Gay

Samsung to release bendy-screened phones

QUOTE

Demonstrations of 'bendable' screens have been a staple of technology shows ever since there were screens small enough for us to carry. This week, Samsung has given the strongest sign yet that the hi-tech devices might become reality.

The company demonstrated 'bendable' AMOLED screens 4.5 inches across and just 0.3mm thick in January this year. Reports this week hint that phones using the technology - which can be 'rolled up' and survive hammer blows - will appear in the second quarter of next year.

The technology relies on atom-thick layers of 'graphene' - sheets of carbon atoms - sandwiched together, protecting a layer of liquid crystal 'screen'.
Earlier this year, reports leaked that Samsung had the capacity to manufacture large amounts of the screen by 'early 2012' - but no one knew what they might be for.

Samsung later released pictures of a concept phone using the technology - the Galaxy Skin. The phone would be no mere novelty. Phones using Graphene screens would be practically unbreakable, and offer an instant advantage over every other smartphone on the market.

Now, according to reports in the International Business Times, the handsets could be on sale early next year. The report was remarkably specific, stating that the handset would offer specifications including a high-resolution 800×480 flexible AMOLED screen, eight megapixel camera and 1Gb of RAM as well as a 1.2GHz processor.

Those specifications sound suspiciously similar to the spec of Samsung's current flagship, the Galaxy S II, however. Will Findlater, editor of Stuff magazine told Mail Online today, 'AMOLED is already the mobile screen technology to beat, so if it’s as good as promised, flexible AMOLED could put an end to smashed smartphone displays - and tablets, which are even more fragile.'

SOS

Far too much, far too young: Outrage over shocking images of the 10-YEAR-OLD model who has graced the pages of Vogue

QUOTE

She reclines among leopard print pillows, her rouged lips pouting at the camera. But shockingly the model in these highly sexualised pictures is only 10 years old.
The provocative images of Thylane Lena-Rose Blondeau, who is tipped as the next big thing on the fashion scene, are causing a storm of controversy with campaigners furious that a child so young should be displaying the sexual allure of someone twice her age.
Thylane has appeared in numerous campaigns and her image is all over the internet. To date she has an impressive portfolio - the French girl has graced the cover of Vogue Enfants and posed for high-end editorials

Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-...l#ixzz1U8QGZ2kN

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Named Antilia after a mythical island, it took seven years to build amid the city's slums.

Guests stay mid-tower - above a tree-lined garden that absorbs sunlight to cool the interior. The skyscraper has a whopping five football pitches of floor space.

Its 600 staff are housed on two floors, while the bottom six storeys provide parking for 168 cars and an in-house garage. The top four levels, with sea views, are family quarters. The pad cost £44million to build but is now worth 15 times that.

Ambani, who made his £18billion fortune in oil, retail and biotechnology, even found space to move in a VIP guest - mum Kokilaben.

SOS

Invasion of giant rat

QUOTE

HORRIFIED neighbours told yesterday how their homes are being invaded by giant rats - including a 30-INCH LONG monster that was shot dead.
The rodents, twice the size of common types, are plaguing an estate in Bradford, West Yorks, often appearing in kitchens and lounges.

It is feared some could be "super rats" from South America. Pictured above is a monster 2½ft rat killed on the estate.

But the shaken man who shot it in the head - 31-year-old Brandon Goddard - yesterday revealed FOUR others of the same size scuttled away to safety.
And he said: "They were more like Ratzillas than rats.

"I got out of there as fast as I could. Who knows how many there will be if they've been breeding?" The shot rat, feared to be from a species native to South America, is TWICE as big as common British types and the largest seen here.

The residents of Ravenscliffe estate in Bradford, West Yorks, are used to seeing massive rodents that sometimes appear in their kitchens and lounges.
Even so, the new colony shocked them. Shown a picture of the dead creature, mum-of-five Rebecca Holmes, 38, gasped: "Oh my God! I've seen them as big as cats but never that big."

Drill:

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

SOS Kicap Tikus
Mobile phone number 0888 888 888 is suspended

QUOTE

Spooked phone bosses have suspended the mobile phone number 0888 888 888 - after every single person assigned to it died in the last 10 years.

The first owner, Vladimir Grashnov - the former CEO of Bulgarian mobile phone company Mobitel, which issued the number - died of cancer in 2001 aged just 48.

Despite a spotless business record there were persistent rumours that his cancer had been caused by a business rival using radioactive poisoning.
The jinxed number then passed to Bulgarian mafia boss Konstantin Dimitrov. He was gunned down in 2003 by a lone assassin in the Netherlands during a trip to inspect his £500million drug-smuggling empire.Dimitrov, who died aged 31, had the mobile with him when he was shot while eating out with a beautiful model.

Russian mafia bosses - jealous of his drug-smuggling operation - were said to have been behind the killing. The phone number then passed to crooked businessman Konstantin Dishliev. He was gunned down outside an Indian restaurant in Bulgaria's capital Sofia in 2005, after taking over the jinxed line.
Estate agent Dishliev had secretly been running a massive cocaine trafficking operation before his assassination.

The body of Konstantin Dimitrov, shot in Amsterdam in 2003. He was just one of the unlucky holders of mobile number 0888 888 888

He died after £130million of the drug was intercepted by police on its way into the country from Colombia. Since then, the number is understood to have been dormant while police maintained an open file on Dishliev's killing and his smuggling ring.

Now spooked phone bosses are said to have suspended the number, which from an international line is +359 888 888 888, for good. Callers now get a recorded message saying the phone is 'outside network coverage'. A Mobitel spokesman would only say: 'We have no comment to make. We won't discuss individual numbers.'

Cursed number

Curse number similar to LOST's 4 8 15 16 23 42?

QUOTE

If Megan Fox was hoping her boyfriend had organised a spectacular surprise for her birthday, she may well have been left disappointed.
The Transformers actress, who turned 24 yesterday, was treated to a very low-key night of celebration by Brian Austin Green.
The 36-year-old actor, who starred in the original Beverly Hills 90210 series, took her to see the romantic drama, Letters To Juliet, at the Arc Light theatre in Hollywood.
But at least her man showed a romantic side as he whisked her off to Pinkberry where he popped a single candle on a small serve of low-fat frozen yogurt.
Except he then ate it all himself.

Still, Megan seemed content with the no-fuss affair and even issued kisses as they snuggled at a corner table.
Megan started dating Brian, who has a son Kassius, 8, from a previous relationship, when she was just 18.
The pair became engaged in November 2006 but briefly called off the relationship in 2009.

She has since said she's 'not the marrying type'.
Megan, who was recently knocked off the top of FHM's Sexiest Woman in the World list by Marisa Miller, is gearing up to promote her next film, Jonah Hex
She plays a prostitute named Leila in the comic-book adaptation, which also stars Josh Brolin, who plays a bounty hunter.
It is set to be released in June.

SOS
If You Were a Billionaire for Five Hours

QUOTE

When Paul Fischer checked his bank account Friday night, he had a happy surprise. His balance had exploded to $88,888,888,888.88. A very lucky number indeed, and close to $89 billion.

Of course, the balance was a technical error by SunTrust Bank (NYSE: STI - News), which quickly fixed the problem. It also may have occurred in other accounts.

"You say, 'Eighty-eight billion, what can I do with that?'" said Mr. Fischer, who owns a jewelry concessionaire for Florida theme parks. "Maybe a handful of us could have brought down SunTrust Bank."

Mr. Fischer had other ideas as well. Before the problem was fixed, he asked a SunTrust rep if he could move the money to an interest-bearing account until it was reclaimed and donate the interest to charity. Total interest: more than $7.3 million.

The bank said no.

The money was stripped out of his account by Saturday morning.

"It's all gone. I'm poor again," he said. "I was a billionaire for five hours."

This kind of bank error happens frequently. But Mr. Fischer raises an interesting question: What if, for five hours, you truly did have $89 billion?

What would you do with the money?
