Hi Guys,

The air for front left Tyre of my kancil is always depleting (refill once in two weeks). My wife who uses the car brought it to a mechanic to have a check. The mechanic claimed that the brake pad cause the problem because its getting thin. I wasn't there so i didnt get the full explanation from my wife but the bottom line is the mechanic said we need to change the brake pad then we wont have the problem anymore. and its only for the left side. the mechanic didnt check the right side.

The problem arise after i change the tyre few months back (didnt go back to the shop because it was at hometown, quite far)

I'm not a car expert but is it true?

Hi guys,

I bought a whole computer set from ALL IT, but something was amiss, at first it didnt bother me but its getting worse, so now after 3-4 months can i still apply for RMA provided that the supplier check which hardware is at fault.

The problem is as below :

1) CPU temperature is always 1C or 2C and sometimes -1c, noticed this few days after I bought the PC (temperature reading at BIOS) but it didnt really bother me as i dont overclock

2) frequent blue screen with error : memory management, ran MEMTEST that came with VISTA detected some error, but after i rearrange the RAM the error appears no more but i still suspect there's something wrong with the motherboard.

It starts to annoy whenever the blue screen appears while im doing my work so this has to stop.

Spec as below:

Motherboard Asus P5k
Core2duo E8200
Ram 4 gyg
Graphic card ASUS 8800GT 256MB

Vista - Printer driver not supported

Hi Guys,

As per attached picture, I'm unable to print because it says the driver can only be use with windows 2000, or XP, or higher (i'm on vista ultimate). I've tried removed, and install again but the same result. I'm unable to get the support from the printer company as their website is down for few days. The printer is not a normal ink/laser printer as it is an industrial printer but installation is the same as ive done a lot of time in my previous pc (xp home).

My question is, is there anyway to force Vista to use the driver such as the "program compatibility mode - run in windows xp" thing? I'm unable to find such option for drivers.

PC spec : core2duo E8400, Nvidia 9600GT, 4gigs Ram, Vista Ultimate.

Old printer port (LPT1)

I have this printer that doesnt have usb support (using the old LPT1 port) while my computer/lappy doesnt have the old LPT1 port. Does anything like USB > LPT1 adapter thingy exist? or is there any other way?

Temperature too low

Hay guys

bought a new pc for the office from ALL IT (They do the hardware installation and I installed an original Win XP home)

spec:

Asus p5k Motherboard
Core 2 duo E8200 @ 2.66ghz
Gigabyte casing with gigabyte power supply (not sure the exact thing but recommended by the guys at ALL IT)
Nvidia Geforce 9600GT (gigabyte)
4 gigs of value ram (kingston)

So the problem is the CPU temperature is too low. sometimes even -1C. The temperature at BIOS is also the same.

Is it a problem with motherboard? Ive attached here the screenshot of some temperature checking software.

Changing to the same Motherboard

My motherboard died already (confirmed by two computer shops) but thats not the main problem, the thing is if i change to the same exact motherboard, can the computer boot up without reformatting the harddisk because i dont want to loose all the data especially my outlook express emails.

The motherboard is Intel D915GAV (LGA775).
