Experiencing Possible Scam

Hi guys,

So I posted an ad selling a used laptop of mine here and also on Mudah. This person contacted me and told me that he'll make payment from US and asked me to post it to his sister in the US. His Whatsapp number is already fishy to me. Asked for my banking details but obviously I gave fake one. So, this morning he told me to check my email for a notification from his bank on the transfer. Telling me that I need to send him the photo of the package and Poslaju receipt for him to send to bank so that the bank can release his payment and he also told me that the bank has already deducted his account balance.

The other fishy thing is, the emails from the bank came into my Gmail spam box. Please tell me I can troll the sohai.

Lazada Online Revolution

Hey guys, not sure if this is the right place to post.

I got an email from Lazada's newsletter saying that their Online Revolution shopping event has started and more. I went to browse and only to see stupidly crazy discounts. Correct me if I'm wrong but is this a new way to advertise products on discount? Increasing the original price and put the so called discount amount, say 40%? Or is this algorithm based (knowing it's an e-commerce website that's massive) on the amount of discount and calculates the crossed off original price?

Let me give an example. A shake bottle worth RM1,300.. And you can get for RM26? This is insanity.. I can list out the number of items displayed on discount for days but here are few examples. Again, correct me if I'm wrong but I have never heard of the brand Fancyqube and can't even find them on Amazon or eBay. No hate intended but more to confusion as to why this is happening.

Need help with buying new bluetooth speaker

I'm not sure if this should go into Audiophile section. Sorry if I'm at the wrong section.

I've been looking for a good bluetooth speaker. Most bluetooth speakers nowadays are for outdoor use. I'm looking for something compact and most of the time, I'll just leave it at the office desk to play some good music. So, I don't really care about how tough it's built. And I don't really care on how loud the speakers sound. Just like good lows and mids, something U-shaped in the spectrum. Also, distance is not really a factor since it's going to be connected within my desk area or room.

Need some recommendations and also help me narrow down my options:
1. Bose Soundlink Mini II
2. SHARKK Boombox
3. Photive CYREN
4. UE Boom/Megaboom

I know these are not all in the same class but I just want to know if say, the Soundlink and the UE is worth the extra $$$ compared to the sound difference with the SHARKK and CYREN. Are they noticable?

Other recommendations are welcome. I'm still looking for one and just so happens I found these four.

Need Help Buying New Old Phone

Hi there, ladies, gents, and gurus.

I have a small budget for a good and decent smartphone. Something with good quality and and value for the money. My budget is around less than RM800. I have been doing some survey and research and I can get a brand new Samsung Galaxy S4 or a brand new Lenovo A7000, which was release a couple of months ago, I guess.

Whilst the A7000 seems fast, I'm still not convinced that it is a good phone for the value compared to the S4. It does come Dolby Atmos, which I'm curious to know if it's worth the buy. I want a fast phone for the money and not sure about the comparison between the two in terms of speed, the responsiveness per se. I hate lags and micro stutters.

Camera quality is not really what I look for because I don't really use mobile camera that much. In terms of gaming, I don't really care. I just don't like laggy 3D apps/games.

If anyone can provide some insights and more info, please do! Between the two, Samsung Galaxy S4 vs Lenovo A7000.

Supplement Recommendation

Hello, gurus and the rest!

I've just started to put an interest in fitness and trying to get in shape for the past couple of months. I am not looking to buff up but more to shave off some body fat to a certain percentage. My routines are mainly HIIT (High-intensity interval training). The plans and schedule that I follow consist of 30-min or less programs every day. However, when I started, I get aches on some parts of my body.

Is there any supplement that helps with recovery so I don't get pain and spend 2 days or more to recover? Additionally and as mentioned, I don't want to buff up whilst consuming the inquired product. Trying to tone down.

Appreciate the help I can get!
