A-Levels or Foundation

Anyone who can advise me,

My son has finished his 10th Standard exams this year. This is equivalent to Form 5 or O levels. Now, he is coming back to Malaysia to continue his studies. Basically he has never sat for PMR, SPM at all.

My dilemma is whether he should study A-Levels in Sciences or Arts in MCKL or do Foundation in the university?

Both of us are not sure at the moment the career path to follow in the future though I have been told that Law, Accounting, Architecture Studies and Civil Engineering related careers would be in great demand in the future.

Except for Architecture, he is not interested with the thought of being a Lawyer or Accounting related job or Engineer.

But I have been persuading him to study for A-Levels Arts taking subjects like Business, Accounting, Econs and Law (all of which he had never studied before) so that it will be a lot easier than studying for A- Levels Science subjects.

I'm also torn a bit whether I should just ask him to do Foundation in Eng at Uni of Nottingham and then proceed with Degree in Civil Eng provided he gets good marks in Foundation to qualify to study there.

Since he likes the idea of drawing, he feels Architecture would be suitable for him but i'm worried since he did not do his SPM or STPM here, he will not qualify to study in local university later. Anyone can suggest whether if he does his A_levels in Sciences or anything else that will be a pathway to study Architecture degree later at an affordable cost?

What should I do? Should I ask him to study A-Levels Science or Arts or Foundation or something else?

He needs to improve his English a bit. Pls advise. Thank you.

Compression Error

Hi,

I need help. I get "compression error" message each time i click on the program that i had installed from a CD.

Initially, i had successfully installed the program from the CD (this is a learning material for my studies) and i was able to access the learning materials by clicking onto the icon on my desktop.

Later, however, i had accidently shut down my pc without exiting from the program first. So when i tried to access in again, i get the compression error message.

Can anyone advice as to how to fix this error so that i could access the program again?

Note : - i had uninstalled and reinstalled the program from the cd into my pc again with no problem but still can't access or go into the program as this error message keeps appearing.

Thanks.
