Looking for monitor recommendations

Looking at these two monitors currently:
Acer ED242QRA (seems to be a rebranding of an ED242QR)
Acer XF240H

These two seems to be the cheapest 144hz monitors I can find right now, unless I look for used ones of course.

I'm upgrading from a really old Samsung monitor and currently deciding to upgrade to a 144hz monitor. I'm going to use them mostly for gaming, I play tons of FPS games but not competitively, so the 144hz would greatly help in those games.

So far looking at reviews for these monitors, the ED242QRA does not seem to be VESA mount compatible while the XF240H does. On the bright side, the ED242QRA has a VA panel so colors might be better on it. However, it does have a 4ms input lag as opposed to XF240H's 1ms input lag, but then again I'm not entirely sure if it would make that much of a difference. On another note, the ED242QRA is a curved 24" monitor..

Which should I get?

Migrating OS from an SSD to HDD

I'm actually planning on reusing my SSD in my current laptop to a desktop I'm planning on building.

So my SSD is a Samsung Evo 850 M.2 but I'm not sure what my HDD is, it came along with the laptop I currently have. When I first got my SSD, I used the Samsung Data Migration software to migrate the OS to the SSD which worked flawlessly.

Now my question is, is there a way to reverse this? Tried using the Data Migration software again but to no avail.

Currently my HDD has 418GB of free space out of the 919GB it has, while my SSD has only 29GB free space of the 231GB it has. I'd love to maintain the files in the HDD if possible, unless I'm needed to actually erase everything in the HDD to work this out then I guess I'll have to get an external HDD to save them first.

Is there a way for me to clone the SSD and put it into the HDD instead?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can't decide between these laptops

Before I state the laptops, the main requirement for it would be for heavy gaming, hoping to play games smoothly at about mid-high settings.
I will probably spend most of the time on the laptop playing games compared to surfing the web or watching videos or doing any student stuffs.
Following that, I'm also hoping to hear about the cooling system between the laptops stated.

Screen Size: Anywhere above 15"
Budget: RM3k - RM3.5k

Laptops:
Asus G551JM
Acer Aspire V Nitro
Lenovo Y50

I will also be open to any other suggestions of laptops, although I would prefer the ones I listed as they are available near my place.
And no I cannot have a desktop PC due to studying away from home.

So I was planning on getting the Lenovo Y510p, but then I just found out that Lenovo is going to release the Y50 in May(not sure in Malaysia or other countries..).

Will the wait be worth it? Or should I just get the Y510p now?
What's the big difference anyway? Will it outperform the current Y510p?
