Attempted robbing of a car at TTDI

At TTDI commercial area, the part near Perodua showroom, a white Lexus RX with heavy tint stopped next to an Evo, on the pretext of double parking (since it's so popular and common there).

The alarm on the Evo sounded, prompted the owner to have a look, only to find out that two men were trying to get into the car by first opening the boot( no idea why).

Unsuccessful, the two got back into the car and drove away. Please note, a white Lexus RX.

Number should be WNV 1900.

Car stalls while idling

So I started my relatively new car to cool it down since it's so hot inside. And then the engine sort of died. I started again, and it repeated in a similar manner after a few seconds.

It seems that once the car is started, the RPM will start to drop, and then this happens. Any ideas? It's not the battery, I already tested that.

Is it serious? Like lots of damage to my wallet?

New Dell XPS desktop

What do you think? Anyone ordered? Personally I think it's not the best bang for the buck..

Which Wireless Router to get?

Planning to get a new wireless router by today but having problems with choices.

Situation: I already have an adsl modem, so getting a router with a modem bundled in it would be like paying extra. Any reliable wireless router to get? One that can support torrenting My D-Link would hang after certain number of connections are made, and I don't like that.

What about Linksys or Aztech or others?

Songs to test how good speakers are

Hi! Any songs to recommend? I have Kenny G, and I think they are good to see how sharp your speakers can be, but other than that? Bass, etc?

If there is any other, would any of you kindly share?

Maintain Warranty or save more than Rm1k?

So Leopard is just around the corner, and I'm finally getting my iMac. But the plan is to get the higher range 20 inch which costs RM5799 and upgrade the lowly 1gb of ram to the maximum of 4gb.

Now, IF I customize under Apple, after conversion it should costs around Rm8.9k which is totally unreasonable to me. I mean, just 3gb more ram and it costs Rm3k more? Also have to blame Apple Malaysia for still using the old USD rate @ 3.8 ($1499 x 3.8= RM 5696, about there)

The other alternative is to buy my own ram, up to 4gb and fit into the iMac, which would automatically void the warranty. I'm so sure I save a lot more, but at the same time I want the warranty as I'm afraid of anything.

Comments?

Software clash?

My sis just bought the 20inch iMac because Leopard is delayed. I chose to wait

However once the iMac connects to our WiFi network it tends to disconnect once in a while. You won't get a notice, but you will know when you download big files like Software Updates. It connects again discreetly and I have to restart my downloads.

Is there a software clash with my Router or Modem? My router is D-Link Airplus G+. Dl-624+

My pc, which is not Mac is fine since it is connected by wire and has no such problem.

Customised iMac -help!

Hi Apple fans. I'm planning to get an iMac soon. The 20 inch Core 2 Duo priced at Rm5999.

Thing is, I would like to upgrade the hard disk from 250GB to 500GB, and double the RAM from 1GB to 2GB. I was told by the Apple Store that I have to wait 3-7 weeks for it to arrive. I suspect that all they are doing is order online and sell to me even higher!

So, can I order online myself? Can Apple US or somewhere nearby ship to Malaysia?
