unifi modem into access point

Hi all,

I am a unifi user previously and im using the astro beyond iptv package now. In my hand now i have one extra unifi router (the white orange one), and as im moving from the 2nd floor to 1st floor room, my fren suggested to me to improve my wifi reception by using my old unifi router to become access point. I have a modem now (still using the white one provided by unifi) and a router provided by astro. I plan to connect the rj/lan cable from the modem/router upstairs and connect it to the old unifi white orange router to create a new access point for a better wifi signal downstairs.

Im really2 sorry if this is a noob question, but how can i configure my unifi modem to become access point?
