[WTA] Is it my router's problem ?

Recent wifi speed is so slow, my Unifi plan is 50mbps, but I can only get 20-30mbps max and its not even stable, sometimes dropping to 9-10mbps or lower, watching twitch = endless buffering even if its on 480p or lower, so I tried connecting using a LAN cable into my laptop (I'm using desktop with Wifi) and the speed is normal which is close to 48-50mbps.
Note : Before this month or so, the speed on Wifi is always decent, 40-50mbps.
So I would assume the problem is with the router ? Does anyone has similar problem before too ? Just want to confirm if its my router's problem so I can decide to replace it or not.
And if its my router problem, can you also recommend a decent router with good coverage ? I'm currently living in a double storey house and my desktop is on second floor, but I'm going to move into a new house with 3 floors soon, so preferably I would like to get a decent router that can support 3 floors house. If its not possible, what are the best possible ways to expand the coverage ?
Thanks in advance.

Budget would be around RM600-700.

HyperX Cloud Alpha or HyperX Cloud II ?

I'm thinking about getting a HyperX Cloud Alpha headset to replace my current Cloud Core, but I've seen some comments/reviews regarding the uncomfortable issue about the drivers being too close to the ears.

Performance-wise most of the reviews mentioned that the Alpha has the better sound quality and mic quality over the Cloud II.

Also some reviews say that the headset has a problem of other people in discord/skype can listen to what you're playing in your headset, is that true ?

I'm in need some of your personal reviews that have used either headsets.
Regarding Studying Overseas

Anyone here studied or studying in overseas now such as UK, Australia or anywhere around the globe ? I'm currently pursuing my 2nd year of degree in Bachelor of Computer Science, and its going to be my 3rd year soon, so I was planning on finishing my 3rd year(my last year in degree) in UK with the twining program of my uni.
I'm thinking is it really necessary/worth it to study overseas with the inflation of GBP and currently I need more suggestions/insights from the lot of you to make up my mind.

Mind sharing your experience studying overseas here ? Questions like these are bothering me : Are you happy with your decision to study overseas? Do you regret for not staying back in Malaysia to continue your studies? What's the difference between studying in overseas and studying locally? and etc.

Try to list out which state/country that you're currently studying or had studied so I can have a reference to look at. Thanks in advance !

TP-Link or ASUS router ?

I'm currently using the stock router Unifi provided for me (L7-N-R2000), and so far its been performing worse and worse for its WiFi connection. My current Unifi plan is 50Mbps but I would get some random spikes/low speed(below 10Mbps or even lower) sometimes and its getting annoying when I'm gaming/streaming movies.

I'm living in a double storey house, my router is on the first floor and my desktop is on the second floor. I am currently using N900 Wireless Dual Band PCI Express Adapter TL-WDN4800 and because I think its not really strong enough so I changed one of the antennas to antenna TL-ANT2408C for my desktop to increase its range.

I need some suggestions for a new router, so far I have only considered a few options like TP-Link Archer C7 and Asus RT-N12HP, so I'm wondering if there are any more better routers than these 2, all I need is good range and stability, my budget would be somewhere around RM500.

My headset's (Kingston HyperX Cloud Core) leather ear pads are starting to tear/crack up and peeling off, slowly but surely.

I can't seem to find the same leather ear pads replacement to buy online.

So I'm just wondering how do you guys clean your leather ear pads from things like oil & sweat due to long time of wearing them, cause I normally just clean them using plain water with a soft cloth.
So I tried using my laptop as a hotspot by installing Connectify, but it wouldn't work, so I uninstalled it, since then when I connect to my home's wifi connection it will be set as Limited/Unidentified network. It can connect to other types of network though, eg : my phone's data hotspot.

Tried various solutions in this video :
1. Uncheck the "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" options
2. Wireless Adapter Setting -> Power Saving Mode : set to Maximum Performance
3. Commands to disable TCP
4. Using DNS server 8.8.8.8
5. Update network adapter driver

and it still won't work, desperately need some help over here.

*Using Windows 8.1

How to fix this low wifi signal strength problem ?

Just got myself a new gaming PC from Ideal Tech, so far so good, the only problem is the wifi problem that seems to hinder my online gaming experience.
Below are the specs for my PC just incase any of you need it to identify the source of the problem :
INTEL CORE I5 7600K
CRYORIG A40
GIGABYTE GA-Z270XP-SLI
GSKILL RipjawsV RED 2x8GB DDR4 2800mhz
EVGA GTX1070 FTW ACX3.0 8GB DDR5 256BIT
FSP Hydro G 750W
Sharkoon S25-W
SAMSUNG 850 EVO 120GB V-NAND
WD 1TB Caviar Blue
Microsoft Windows 10 Home 64Bit
Dual Band Wireless PCI-E 450Mbps+450Mbps with 3 Antenna (TP-Link WDN4800)

The PCI Express Adapter that I'm using for my desktop computer is this : TP-LINK WDN4800
This is the signal bar strength on Windows 10 (Current new PC) :
The TP-Link Configuration program :
This is the signal bar strength on Windows 8 (Old laptop) :
Speedtest between both doesn't make much difference though, its between 4.6~4.8 mbps and 1ms~8ms.

On my old laptop I can steadily get between 4-5 bars of signal strength while on my new PC it is constantly 3 bars.
So the thing is when I'm playing online games such as Dota 2 and CSGO, the ping will rise to 1k and above once in a while and I can't do anything about it.
My router is on first floor but I'm in my second floor's living room area and I've been using this place to play since my old laptop which means there is no wall blocking the signal or whatsoever, and the distance isn't really that far, its only like 10 meters away from the router.

I've tried several methods but to no avail :
1. replugging in and out the adapter's antenna on the back of my CPU
2. adjusting the antenna's angle
3. let the back of my CPU face the direction of the router so that the CPU doesn't block the antenna
4. downloading drivers for my PCI-E

Current router unifi gave me is the default L7-N-R2000 router model.
So any idea I can fix this problem ? Ideal Tech recommended me to get a new router instead, TL-WR841HP (unifi).
Just wondering before I get a new router is there any other solutions that you guys might suggest ?

Currently I am living in Klang, so if I am to study in MMU, I have to stay either on-campus or off-campus in Cyberjaya while studying in Taylor's Lakeside University I can drive there everyday from my home.
A lot of people recommend me to study in MMU for Computer Science because of its more reputable faculties, lecturers etc. Also, MMU's Computer Science course has a major in Software Engineering while Taylor's only has separately either Computer Science or Software Engineering.
My parents seems to like me to study in Taylor's more because I can go back home after studying everyday while if MMU I have to stay in Cyberjaya.
I myself though don't really mind in staying far away from my home because that could be a different experience for myself to be more self-disciplined and more independent.
So I need some suggestions from you guys since I am going to register for enrolment this weekend.

Also, like when I'm using a needle or pen to try to poke a dot while focusing, the hand will shake too or when I am typing on my phone using my thumbs, if I hold my thumbs in mid-air, my thumbs would shake too.
I wanted to know why is this happenning to me, and how to cure this problem. And no, I am sure this isnt Parkinson's disease. My family would always tease me as weak when they saw my hands or finger shaking. This is frustrating
