Maxis Fibre Asus Router Voip Setup

Hi all Sifus here,

I've recently upgraded my maxis fibre stock router TP-link Archer c5v to Asus AX82U.

pppoe username and password has been provided by maxis and internet is working fine on Asus now. The ISP profile in Asus router is MAXIS FIBRE-SPECIAL.

However, I'll still need the voip phone service as my home alarm system is connected to the phone. So I have tried the following method but none of them work.

1.Connecting both TP-link c5v and Asus Ax82U to maxis modem (once Asus router granted access to the internet, c5v doesn't work anymore)

2. Connecting C5v Wan port to Asus Lan 3 as per Asus's setting, (No, the voip phone and internet both doesn't work on C5V )

3.Connecting C5V LAN port to Asus Lan3 (doesnt work)

I have also tried to disable the DHPC in C5V setting, as well as enable the bridge mode. All doesn't work

Any sifu can advise what setting do i need for the phone to work?

Condo Pipe Leak what should we compensate

This morning my condo’s management called me up saying that my kitchen is leaking to unit below which I did not notice at all. So i quickly called plumber and got the issue fixed.

However, the unit below is requesting compensation as follow:

1.Spoon, forks and knife which He claimed that theres water stain and he dare not to use anymore. I am okay with this as this doesnt cost much.

2.Rice cooker( his rice cooker is obviously old and aged) only the lid and steam rack got some water marks and stain.rice cooker no problem at all. He requested a new rice cooker. I only took the lid and steamer, polish and clean the water stain and gave it back to him.

3.kitchen cabinet table top (he claimed that there’s water stain like limescale on it) i bought a limescale remover and cleaned like 60-70% for him, but some light marks still visible. He says he’s still not happy with it.

4.kitchen stainless steel sink( he claimed that the water drip from my unit is acidic or whatsoever that causes his sink to oxidize and turned black. I also bought metal polish and cleaned 60-70% for him. He’s still not happy with it.

Nobody knows if those damage really caused by the water drip from my unit but i have tried my best to solve everything for him.

So question is should i continue to entertain him or just ask him to go for legal action. He is somehow requesting a compensation of whole new table top and sink which I believe it doesnt make sense at all.

Dark Area on LCD TV

Hi all expert here,

There is a big dark area on My sharp LC60UA440X 60inch LCD tv recently, it started from a not so obvious thin line, then the area of the line slowly goes bigger and then yesterday the area started to become black.

anyone knows whats faulty around what price to fix? warranty just over, bought for 2 years only，claimed warranty once last year for the power board just one month before the warranty end then now this happen, cant believe this is the quality of sharp tv now ....

Best Airflow Direction

I'm planning to upgrade my cpu cooler to an AIO water cooler but i am thinking how to manage the airflow direction of my case to get the overall best thermal solution for all the other component as well.

so i am currently using CM MASTERBOX MB500 case, planing to add-on a 240mm radiator to the front of the case .

All life stage dog food?

Hello all sifu here, basically i need your advise on which brand of dog food and where to buy for the best price in klang valley.

I have 2 dogs, one is M size poodle(8.5kg, 10yrs old) and another one is mini schnauzer (4.1kg, 6 months old).(my poodle has a sensitive skin, always scratch here scratch there so i prefer lamb).

I am feeding them with the korean brand probest lamb and brown rice dog food at the moment, price is around RM180 for 15kg.

I realised that the food is actually for adult dogs from 12 months onwards, so i am trying to search for some other dog food that can be use for all life stage so both of them can share the same type of food.

I am currently looking at petcurean go! (RM230 for 11.xxkg) and blackwood lamb and rice formula (RM233 for 13.36kg ), anyone of you is using this two brand and have any comment ? and also please share with me where can i get the biggest bag (11.xxkg for go! and 13.63kg for blackwood) with the lowest price in klang valley

Accident report after 6days?

okay so basically last thursday there was a crazy heavy rain in kajang area and my friend were involved in a 3-car accident due to the poor sight and slippery road, didnt notice the car infront has stopped and too late to brake.

so my friend is the last car among the 3,

her car's bonnet bended, both headlamp and signal lamp broken, bumper dropped.

the middle one backside is fine just some scratches, but front part one headlamp broken, and bumper dropped.

the first car seem totally fine, no obvious scratches or injury, so he said that it's fine for him, he doesn't need any compensation so he ask my friend to settle with the middle car and then he left.

okay so my friend agreed to compensate the middle car which she already did the next day.

so today is the 6th days after the accident both the middle car and my friend has already settled and repaired their car.

but this afternoon, the middle car's owner received a phone call from the police station saying that the first car has reported for the accident.

so i would like to know what can my friend do if the first car has done some damage to his car on purpos(or maybe he involved in another accident in between) to claims that it was caused by the accident?

also, if the middle car decided to go and make his own reports saying that it was my friend that banged him to cause the whole accident, what can my friend do?
do she need to compensate to both of the car infront? if the middle car go and claim her insurance again?

lastly, is report after 6 days of accident normal and accepted by the police?

Planning to change my graphic card, Budget around RM500+.

Targeting on Saphire R7 265 and power color R9 270

Performance for both of this card are quite similar, pricing also like RM10 difference only (265 more exp ). one in R9 range and the other R7 only. which one to choose ? HMMM...
