Lazada/shopee Mattress nice or not?

Anyone have any experience with the cheap mattresses being sold in shopee/lazada? With those gimmicky name (Dr. XXX) and gimmicky ads (euro export, 10 years warranty, etc.). I'm don't mind those as long as they are worth it for the price. For a single bed most goes for RM300-RM500.

I'm still a student so I really don't have the money to get those RM1k above mattresses even though people always say to invest in mattress since we spend 30% of our lives on it, and honestly even if I do have the money now I won't be buying those as I'll be studying only a few years and go back my hometown after that. Currently I'm using a stiff mattress probably under RM100 free from the owner I'm renting the room from but find it too stiff and causes back/shoulder pain occasionally (yes not only young people gets sore back).

Went to find some mattresses online and I guess the only ones that fit my budget are the RM300-500 ones sold in shopee. Should I get those, or will it be a waste of money and no different than those RM100 mattress?

Walkie Talkie what frequency?

I just bought a UV-5R walkie talkie which can set whichever frequency we want to communicate in, but I do not want to venture into and public service or ham radio frequencies out there as I don't want to find trouble. Which frequency band in Malaysia is allocated for citizen use? I did some googling and found it to be 477MHz and 446MHz, but what makes me curious is that I found on shopee many are selling cheap models which broadcasts in 462MHz and some other frequency. Does that mean I can use any other frequency as long as I don't interfere with those commercial ones?

Sending car from Sarawak to KL

I plan to send my car from Sarawak to KL but I have no ideas how are the procedures, other than of course find a logistic company to ship it there. Is there any other things I need to do or be aware of? Also since roadtax in West MY is much more exp, does it mean I have apply for new roadtax and insurance there?

Which is the best private uni to do CS degree in malaysia?

Computer Science : UM or MMU

After days of reading online I've finally narrowed down to 2 choices, UM and MMU. However I am still keeping my choices open so if there's anyone who thinks there's better uni out there for CS, your comments are welcomed.

Now before some says UM the best since cheap, I was too late to apply for UM with UPU, so the only way now is to enter with their open intake now, which is way more expensive than the one with UPU. So I would say in a financial standpoint there will be no difference for me in this case, whether UM or MMU. In fact MMU may be cheaper as I'm eligible for their 50% scholarship.

I'm asking for some thoughts on these 2 unis, and the main things I'm concerned about is their student life (clubs, entertainment and stuffs) and syllabus (want CS course to learn and do real world stuff, not to have fun and pass easily). Like I said above, the fees does not matter.

Xiaomi PTZ 1080p seems nice but looks very blur.

Smelly washing machine

Using LG front loading washing with dryer function.

Every once in a while the washed clothes that comes out will have some kind if mould smell. Pretty sure it's from the washing machine problem as we never leave the clothes inside for a long time after the wash completes.

And the smell is magnified if we use the dryer function. So it means the dryer function is pretty much useless as all the clothes that comes out of it will be smelly.

Tried vinegar, baking soda, washing machine cleaner but nothing works. Even to the extent of using a fan to blow dry the drum after washing.

Anyone using a front load washing machine facing this problem too? Not sure if just this model design problem, or same thing for all front load type. Might buy new washing machine soon due to this, but not sure if I should get a top or front loading machine.

Racism in Malaysia

With the current racism case going on, it makes me wonder how many percentage of people in Malaysia are actually that racist.

Me personally have never actually met a racist person, or anyone who treat me badly for my race. Which made me shocked with the current case(s), as I wouldn't have thought that this kind of people still exists.

Tenant pays 2-3 mths deposit before moving in
After tenant decide to stop renting there, tenant will have to find someone to rent the place.
Then the ppl tenant found will pay the previous tenant 2-3 mths deposit, and that's how they get their deposit "refunded"
If can't find ppl to continue rent then consider deposit can't be "refunded"

Open burning

My neighbour been open burning continuously for 3 days straight now.
All clothes being dried outside now have the smell of smoke, and since I've got allergic rhinitis, the smoke isn't doing any good for my condition.

Is it legal to burn stuffs in house compound? He's burning at his backyard, fire ain't big but he's burning wet leaves so the smoke is terrible.

Confronted him politely and all he did was tell me to close my doors and windows so smoke don't get in

Who should I report it to? Is it even illegal? He's open burning again when I'm making this post.

LED headlights

My car has a projector headlamp housing (retro-fitted). Wanna ask if it's legal to change to LED bulb or not? The headlamp probably not made for Halogen bulbs, so damn dim, can barely see the road on streets without streelights. Way dimmer if compared with a Reflector Housing + Halogen bulb.

I know HID is confirmed illegal, so not considering that at all. If LED is allowed, do I have to use warm white, or can use white oso??
