Problem with guitar nut

To those who play guitar, can you guys shed some light?

When I press on the first fret and strum, the sound is just terrible, on further inspection I noticed that while pressing on the first fret, the string is touching the metal strip on the second fret, causing it to sound unpleasant.

Any tips to solve this? Should I change the nut because the string have sorta eaten in to it, which makes it lower, thus explaining my problem.

hey there people, posting from my phone now cozy I can't sleep. Been thinking a lot lately. A lot of my friends are having their partners now. it's kind of depressing to know that everybody is coupling up except me, myself.
I always have the feeling that I will grow old alone without marrying. my first relationship was kinda bad coz I screwed it up. wait... it Probably wasn't even a relationship because I didn't get the chance to confess. the girl had feelings for me too but I acted like nothing was going on but deep down I really loved her. I treated her as a gf but in the end she left for a better guy.
that was a few years ago. after that, I had a fair share of girls going after me but I didnt seem to have the interest to get in a relationship. a year has passed and I have rejected a few people. I don't get why people who aren't on par with my frequency always fall for me. nvm bout that. now I just think that I'm lifeless because having to study overseas requires me to focus more on my degree and also save money by not going out. grades are stsrtineto worsen. I think I'm depressed.

anybody can talk me out of this?

Hi guys, I soaked my favourite shirt which has black white and red stripes in the water overnight.

Now the white part of it has red stains on it.

How to remove it? Anybody here knows?

My parents are spending an enormous amount of their money to ensure that I be successful.

I'm doing okay with my degree, just that I just got transferred overseas and the teaching style here is very different than in Malaysia, takes time to adapt.

Sometimes I just feel like a failure.

You know guys, when my friends or acquittance have problems with relationships, I will be the first one to advise them and most of the time they work.

But.. when it comes to me. I mean.. girls like me generally. I'm not much of an action taking person because that's just me. Girls will come to me and we talk, finding out others interest but it reaches some point like the girl is okay but she talks too much, her thighs are too fat etc.

So that would really be a huge turn off for me and I stop contacting them.

How ar /k/? I know I'm choosy. How to overcome this problem?

There's a spring connecting both A and B. and a minimum force is required to find to move brick A.

My solution:

Friction formula, f= u*m*g

Spring force= k.x, x is the extension

Summation of forces in the x direction.

I'm required to find the minimum force to move block A.
