Lenovo Y580 windows problem

1st of all I dun know how to format a pc.
I got a y580 3630qm processor version and it comes with W7 home basic.
I wish to convert 2 Home premium at least, I got a friend to help me but there is some problem.some of the driver can't be install after he load it with home premium.
yes is a pirated copy, but it should be done actually iziit?
the next day he took to service center at IBM building and technician refuse to recover the laptop with pirate win7 home premium.
as my friend told even with a genuine copy the technician wont do the job b'coz they dun wan any complain so they juz recover back into home basic.
does the brand telling this 3k model cant use home premium?as my research oversea the version do manufacture in home premium as well.then how come mine not compatible?
any1 try install with home premium n success b4?help me pls.
if possible i will pay for the labor, of course in reasonable price.
since thgs happen like this i won't try with any geniune 1 untill I'm 100% confirm the pc can use home premium.

what is the difference with SSD and without SSD version?besides faster to boot up window, can i install frequent use software or application in SSD and it will run faster instead of HDD, it respond faster in SSD?

does the SSD version also equip with HDD and DVD writer?

what if this model compare with XPS 15 with 2nd gen i7?which have better performance and more value of money worth?

any leaks when XPS 3rd gen will be available and price range?
