Sony Vaio Recovery Partiton

as the title sound, my Vaio started having problem when accessing one of the partition.
After i scanned using HD Tune Pro, i found out there were bad/ damaged sector in it.
So i think wanna buy a new drive to replace it. But beforer that,

i. Does anyone knew how to copy recovery partition from the old drive to the new drive?

my 1 year Vaio warranty already end,

ii. How much do you guys think Sony Service will charged me if i lets them do all the repairing for me....? Does it worth than do it all by ourself?
