My 10+ year old 24 inch 1080p Viewsonic is showing some graininess which looks like behind the panel (I can’t wipe it off). 2-3 yrs back was the last time I used it and I just turned on again last night.

Is there anyway to fix it or how much would it cost to get a professional to open it up and just wipe the dirt off? (Prefer not to open myself).

Would like to try and keep it for nostalgic purposes and PS3 / PS4 gaming on the side.

Graphics
Dark Souls Remastered will have a 4K resolution with a compatible TV / monitor at 60 frames per second on the Xbox One X, PlayStation 4 Pro, and PC. It will display upscaled 4K resolution on PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One, while the PC version will be native 4K.
PlayStation 4 and Xbox One – 1080p resolution at 60 frames per second.
On the Switch, it will have a 1080p resolution at 30 frames per second when docked to TV, and 720p resolution at 30fps when in handheld mode.
Online Multiplayer
The maximum number of players online has increased from 4 to 6.
The Dried Finger item will be needed to play with 6 players.
The Dried Finger has been moved from the Painted World of Ariamis level to the Undead Burg merchant to be obtainable earlier in the game. The Dried Finger location in the Painted World has been replaced with a Twin Humanities item.
Password Matchmaking is now available, similar to Dark Souls 3. When a player is summoned in Password Matchmaking the player level will be synced.
It’s now easier for friends to be matched with each other. When the guest player’s character level and weapon is higher than that of the host player, the level will be adjusted accordingly.
Healing items will not be available during PvP with the exception of Estus Flasks. To prevent long and drawn out battles, the number of Estus Flasks is halved for phantoms.
When a player defeats an invading phantom, their Estus Flask is restored.
Players can turn on / off global matchmaking.
Players can now prevent matched Red Phantoms from seeing their “White Sign Soapstone” sign.
layers can no longer summon ally phantoms consecutively when in combat with enemy phantoms.
In online play, players who are outside of the host’s parameter range will not be matched with each other (the players can still be matched via Password Matching).
Arena
Three-versus-three and six-player deathmatch have been added.
Arena battles can also use Password Matching.
Respawn points will be random.
Miscellaneous
Players can select the number of usable items, such as consumable souls or covenant items, to use instead of one at a time as in the original game.
The number of languages has been increased to the number found in Dark Souls 3.
A Bonfire has been added next to Vamos the Blacksmith.
Covenants can be switched at Bonfires.
Button configuration is available.
Items will not automatically be registered into an item slot when picked up.
When the up or down directional pad button is held down, the first item equipped will be selected.
The online network has been changed from P2P to dedicated servers.

Hi /k not sure if any of you receive this but let me share a call experience I had today.

1. Receive call from 92018118 and it was an automated response asking me to confirm a RM3.9k transaction at KLIA2 on my RHB bank Credit Card. Press 1 to confirm, 5 to XXXX (can't recall what was it) or 9 to speak to Operator.

2. I don't have any RHB accounts or products so I press 9.

3. Person on other line who says his name is David Liew ask me the same thing I wish to authorize the transaction. His English was bad but still very courteous and politely ask if I have a transaction at KLIA2. He also ask my IC for verification.

4. I stupidly gave him my IC no and then ask what is the card no and name on card. He quoted last 4 digits 5609 and subsequently state my full name (spelling it out). Don't know if he had it before or manage to find out in a minute since I gave my IC no.

5. While talking I check RHB website and saw their customer service number was 92068118. At first I thought was correct then only realize the one-digit difference (92018118 vs 92068118) then immediately my thoughts went from suspicious to OMG its WRONG!

6. Ask the guy to repeat his name again, and ask him where the RHB Bank centre I will go immediately to so I can speak personally to them. At this point he sound stunned a bit but he say ok you can go to the HQ at Jalan Tun Razak. Then I said I'm not authorizing anything and put the phone down.

7. Sent an email to RHB Bank on the above and called Bank Negara who a nice lady told me its a scam and I not the first case. All them will mention they got info from application from Lot 10 (not at my call) and transactions are always at KLIA2 (wonder why). Assured me give my IC is not an issue since they cant use it without the physical copy (I'm more worried on online transactions).

Long story short :

1. Scammers finding new ways to get your money. The phone call was so authentically the same as what you would receive if bank wants to check you had make a transaction (automated banking).

2. The number will almost look like the Customer Service number to allay suspicions. Eg if I was RHB Bank customer I would have thought it was from the bank coz number look so alike. Smart to change the middle and not the first or last 4.

3. The scam customer service perform the same SOP as any customer service to make you feel relax and think its from them.
