My name is Wai Ming. I am 23 years old and I have just received my Audio Engineering degree . I am also based in KL.

I am an Avid certified user of Protools and am willing to privately teach anyone who is interested in learning how to use the program!

The classes will entail of :

Protools

- Functions of Protools
- Shortcuts of Commands
- How to use Protools effectively (MIDI and Recording)

Basic Mixing Theory

Steps in Mixing

- How to do audio edits
- Signal Processing (Signal flow, channel strip)
- Functions of equalizers,compressors, distortion etc..

Basic Recording Theory

- Room Treatment
- Room Acoustics
- Microphone Technology
- Recording Techniques

Me and my friends just came up with a new hiphop track called "Genghis Khan". We tried avoiding sounding too oldschool so we used some modern sounds in this track.

Need Advice for the Future

Hi guys,

I am graduating this July (touchwood) for my business uni degree . however i do not feel like going corporate straight away and would like to enhance my skills in Mixing/Producing music. I started making beats last December and have found a great passion for it and have been passionate about music ever since i was in school. but its the real deal now since im about to graduate and i have to make plans for the future.

I am planning to pursue a course in production in any vicinity in Malaysia but im unsure about the courses the universities provide and which one offers the best curriculum. I have researched and i have found that ICOM, SAE and LKW does this courses but im not sure which one to really look through.
Are there any people with experience with these universities? Any input will be greatly appreciated.
