I cant find any specific thread on Panoramic photog in this forum. So I open new thread that dedicate forumers to share their techniques, samples etc. Hope MOD wont mind

What is Panoramic Photography?

Panoramic photography is a technique of photography, using specialised equipment or software, that captures images with elongated fields of view. It is sometimes known as wide format photography. The term has also been applied to a photograph that is cropped to a relatively wide aspect ratio. While there is no formal division between "wide-angle" and "panoramic" photography, "wide angle" normally refers to a type of lens, but this lens type does not necessarily image a panorama. An image made with an ultra wide angle fisheye lens covering the normal film frame of 1:1.33 is not automatically considered to be a panorama. An image showing a field of view approximating, or greater than, that of the human eye - about 160° by 75° - may be termed panoramic. This generally means it has an aspect ratio of 2:1 or larger, the image being at least twice as wide as its height. The resulting images take the form of a wide strip. Some panoramic images have aspect ratios of 4:1 and sometimes 10:1, covering fields of view of up to 360 degrees. Both the aspect ratio and coverage of field are important factors in defining a true panoramic image.

For example, Im using D90 with Kitlens (18-105mm) so It was difficult for me to take full frame images of lanscape. So this is what I did, I snap few photos at 18mm, stitched them together in image stitcher software. Theres a few software, but I use PTGui as newbie. We also can use CS2, CS3 etc.

Hi guys, sorry for opening of new thread.

I got some question, is the bank will accept the loan application for 2nd hand car? Er..i mean if i buy directly from owner, and not from shop. But the problem is the price of the car is lower than RM10000

As far as i read, it is more easy if the we buy a 2nd hand car from a shop rite? because they got this "orang dalam" or "cable" inside the bank to arrange the loan application

Car for tall guys

Hi guys..im looking for a 2nd hand car..Im tall and i think kancil is not suitable for me i tried a kancil [all model] before...for short distance drive still ok..but when it goes for long distance..

Im a student and doing a part-time job.With a salary around RM1500, Im able to spend around RM350/month for a car. btw, i need this car to travel from kl-kelantan once in a month

Do you think buying a 2nd hand car is quit risky? Im thinking of buying wira sedan..

Internet suddenly dc

Im using LAN ethernet port at my hostels..before this got no problem but since yesterday, it always becomes dc [disconnect] . It failed to repair but after i restart my computer, the problem will automatically solved ...however, the same problem will reoccured again in next around 1 and half hours..this really tired me up..

Im already do hijackthis scanning and after analyzed in at hijakthis.de, nothing obvious like malware or spyware is detected. Here i paste the loglife

Hi guys, as picture shown below, after scanned using the Hardisk ReGenerator 1.51, it show that 92500+ bad sector found on my harddisk ..the count of bad sector still increasing...for ur info, its already 13 hours of scanning

Actually, I try to remove the bad sector in which i found after i use the chkdsk function in windows environment...then this is what happen during scanning process with this software..

What should i do? should i throw this harddisk? this is an old 40gig Maxtor harddisk and already not in warranty. Or u guys have any suggestion of software that can remove this bad sector? Which software is better? ...and faster because waiting for 13 hours without doing nothing is killing me...and it still not finished

My DVD-RW doesnt work?

Hi guys, sorry for opening a new thread.

I have one unit of LG dvd burner. It's model number is HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-4167B and it is an OEM unit. bought around 1.5 years ago and seldomly use since i have other dvd-writer (pioneer).

Last time this unit is working properly and sometimes exceed the perfomance of my pioneer writer. As i remember, i have flashed its firmware from DJ10 to DJ13 as u can see in pic below. It is ok after i flashed to newer firmware. but after that, i stored this unit and havent use it around 6-7 month and now i just open it back since i want to setup my 2nd rig.

my question is..

1. Can this problem being solved?
2. Is it due to firmware upgrade that i made cause all this problem?

I have tried using a paper clip to forcely open its front panel. unfortunately, it lso cant read the dvd..

Snap picture on viewer box

Actually i have to snap a picture on a view box; just like the view boxes that ppl use to view x-ray film. Similarly if u view ur digicam and focus on computer monitor...i got a problem on light, in which some picture look dark and some look clear...here is the pic of most of the image. Here is the image that i snap using the landscape mode

Im using Kodak Easyshare digicam in which the support the setting just like a manual camera, just like the ISO, Apperture, Shutter Speed and Exposure Compensation

Any ideas? thanks...

Share intenet connection in apartment

First of all, sorry coz i didnt use the template..my question is simple.

My apartment have one internet port, and we want share the connection, and i need to split up the connection to 8 other pc/lappie. my question are..

1. should i bought a new modem?
2. Switch and hub is the same thing rite?
3. let say if i use an wireless access point, can i set up the login password to other pc if they want to share the connection?
