no sound from audio output,front and rear jack

no sound came out of my pc,both front and rear cannot be use. i've already updated the latest driver for my sound.
and also i realise it doesn't detect my dvd drive.
i can't eject it,no led signal when i push the eject button from it.
the bios ad chipset driver is all up to date.
what i rmember is the last thing i've done on my pc is putting the LAN card as my mobo's ethernet port burnt by lightning.
anyway,my mobo is P8H67 M LE.
i've max the volume out,the icon appear as usual, it doesn't even show any problem but still no sound produced. i'm afraid its the mobo prob,but i dont think i've done anything to my mobo instead of putting the PCI ethernet card. i hope any1 could help me regarding his matter,tq.

i'm not sure which one is the better one,but i have to consider this two casing as it is on offer, as my old casing can't fit my hyper 212+
which one is better,in terms of:
-air flow
-space(fit my hyper 212+)
-worthy
-or the view,which more attractive
i need some of ur advice..

system can only read 2gb ram

i bought an asus P8H67-M-LE mobo. and that mobo only support 1333mhz ram. but i wrongly bought 4gb(2x2gb) 1600mhz ram(corsair xms3) and i pug it inot my mobo. the problem is,the mobo only read 2gb,i already set in the bios and the turn off the max speed limit whatever. any sifus can help me ???do i have to change to 1333mhz ram?
