building HTPC budget 1.2k

trying to build a HTPC for family with 42 inch tv as the monitor. come out with the following spec, hopefully can have some opinion from sifu

A4 3300-amd
F1A55-MLX-asus
4gb Ram-kingston
1TB hd-seagate
1 DVD writer-Liteon
PSU-??
asus GT630 4GB <<<<<<is this ok? any other GC that are in the same price range and perform better?
casing- any cap ayam casing will do.

may be using the HTPC to do some light gaming, surfing and office work. BTW I'm from Sarawak so the price of is slightly expensive compare to west Malaysia. thanks in advance

my friend is asking me build up a gaming rig for him, so I come out with the following spec, need advice and suggestion from all:

mobo: asus P8Z77 M (is tis mobo ok for 24/7 operative system?)
Processor: i3 2130
GC : asus GTX560Ti Direct Cu Top (any graphic card that are at this budget range and on par with it?he want to play diablo III)23"monitor
hard disk: WD blue 1TB
Ram: any brand 4GBX2
PSU: are there PSU from cooler master that are reliable?
casing: cooler master elite 431+
monitor: please suggest a good 23" monitor.

At my place here choices are very limited, can only choose from asus brand for mobo and GC while for PSU there are only cooler master brand.

CPU fan error

just finish building my rig around an hour ago and on the start up menu it will show many words +sentences and at the end it will show CPU fan error. press F1 to continue to setup.

question:
1. did I plug in the wrong header for the cpu fan? (both of my fan are running) Which header should I plug in?
2. why I cann't get the reading for the speed of my CPU fan?

can I fit a noctua NH-D14 in a corsair carbide400R

Hi guys, I'm trying to assemble my first very own gaming rig , totally newbie in assembling pc from parts as my old pc are acer . after doing some surfing the following are the spec that I list out;

i5 2.5k - RM 634
asus P8Z68 V-Pro - RM 669
MSI GTX560-Ti Hawk - RM 839
Corsair DDR3 PC1333 4GB - RM 69 X2
samsung 1TB F3 - RM 169
Corsair HX 750 - RM 599
Lite-on DVD - RM 60
cooler - (hvn't decide which to use need help )
casing - corsair 600T sure look nice but expensive .....any casing that are nice which cost around RM300? need suggestion......
monitor- samsung S20A300B 20" LED - RM 369

i taking the corsair HX 750 coz thinking of might add on another GC (sli) . I try to fix every thing around 3.5k excluding the monitor. Need aid from you guys, feel free to comments or advising a more price value rig.
