Girl with issues

Hi everyone! I just want to share my story and need some advice.

I was dating this girl in college for about 2 and a half years already and we would have lots of small petty arguments which would blow out of proportions. She would generally try to find any fault with me and always needed reassurance from me which I believe i did but it was never good enough. We broke up 3 times and still got back together through that 2 and a half years.

Then, when I graduated, I couldn't spend as much time as I would like with her as i started working. A couple of months later, she told me she wanted a break up as she needed time and space for herself. I still loved her so much and I tried asking her if she believed there was a future for us. What really confused me is that she used sentences like "Why wouldn't i want a relationship with you if i can?" but also said "I don't have the same feelings for you when in college compared to now". She continued giving a lot of excuses and then she told me she has been attending counseling session for abandonment issues as her dad left her and her family when she was really young.

Then when I read up on this abandonment thing, I realized that our arguments when we were together were exactly the same as what the articles have said they suffer from. It made me tear up because all this while i have been handling her insecurities wrongly and now I am thinking that she tried distancing herself and quit giving me hope because she didn't want to disappoint me because she cares for me.

Dear forumers, I would like to ask if anyone has encountered a partner that has these abandonment issues and is it possible to overcome it? What can I do to help her? Should I be actively helping in any way or just give her the time and space she wants?

I hope I can get good advices because i really really love her and I believe she is the one and only for me. Even if in the end, she doesn't accept me back i would still want to help her overcome this problem. So please do let me know what i can do.

Hi i do not know if this place is the right place to ask but i hope someone can give some advice on the dilemma i am facing. It goes like this:

I shifted to my new house which has no telephone wire or fiber optics connected to it but infrastructure is all ready as TMnet told us when they showed us the neighborhood plan. The problem is our house is an individual house and the nearest fibre optics is apparently 400 meters away (if they were to pull from there) but there are already bungalows and other houses built and almost handed over to owners soon (about 100-200 meters away) and other projects building around.

In September 2012, anticipating that it will take a long time for TM to help lay cables, we approached and requested them to lay cables so we at least can have telephone service with Streamyx. At that time, they promised us to lay fiber optics because they said new neighborhood do not use traditional phone lines anymore by end of 2012. By December nothing happened, so we reported to CFM to try help our situation. TM promised CFM to install for us by 1st quarter 2013. At first they said they will definitely install by March but suddenly they changed their mind and said it is not Profitable because it is too expensive to lay the fiber optics.

Now its April and still nothing done yet... we already waited patiently for 7 months and we are not really asking for fiber optics. We just want basic telephone and internet service. We tried to find other alternatives like P1(not in coverage area), Maxis BB(Manager said signal there too low) and Celcom(always no line and erratic). We thought of YES but our house has 4 computers with different users so the quota is kind of low.

The helpful lady in CFM said she will help us escalate the issue to one of the deputy director of MCMC and the deputy director said she might not be able to help because TM is all about profitability.

Can anyone provide any knowledge or solutions to this dilemma and did anyone go through this before?

1)Is there anything to be done?
2)Can go through any channel besides MCMC?
3)Does MCMC have the power to compel TM to provide the services under Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission Act (1998) and the Communications and Multimedia Act (1998)?

Thanks you all in advance. Its very frustrating for us because we gave so much time and they keep promising but not delivering anything.

I'm just looking for a basic laptop for assignments and internet surfing. But, sometimes to pass time, can play some games like dungeon siege 2 or something

Somehow i cant find the full current specs of these netbooks even on their Malaysian site.

Contractor/ Sub contractor for labour

Hello, my family is trying to build a bungalow in Klang so we are trying to find a team of builders or a contractor to provide only the labour as all the materials will be provided. The land is already there and the plans for the house have already been approved so all we need now are labour to start the construction. We have tried looking around but to our dismay, many of them already have projects ongoing.

Do any of you know any reliable contractors or skilled builders that can provide labour? Please do share as we are trying to start as soon as possible.
