The Tamron 70200 cost 2k+ less than the SAL 70200. Although the Tamron does not come with SSM, the IQ is very good. If you were in the market looking for 70200 (2.8), which will you buy.

Problem with my Harman Kardon AV Amp

Hi,

My Harman Kardon AV Amp switch off by itself after about 10 minutes of play. I suspect that it caused by overheating. But I don't know what could be the cause. Previously I never had this problem. It only happen about 1 month back. Any one experience a similar problem and can advise me on how to solve this?

Get separate power cords or filter power block

I want to seek yr opinion. Is it better to get a separate power cords for each of your hi-fi component or get a single power block (like BADA), which hopefully can do the same job of filtering EMI and EMF.

If I get a power block, I can use it for my TV, AVR, Sub woofer on top of my hi-fi equipment.
