PS5 Import Help - UK to Malaysia

Hi all,

So my pre-order from a reseller on shopee was cancelled a few days ago. However, I managed to secure a pre-order back home in London for the 24th December.

My question is: how much will I be charged to bring it across? I'm trying to work out whether it's financially viable. I absolutely do not want to pay scalpers and so that it is not an option.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks.

External Hard Drive Issue

Hi folks, I seem to have a unique problem and I was hoping you lovely people could either recommend a very good repairmen somewhere in KL/Selangor or even further (the HDD is VERY valuable to me!) or you could maybe help in diagnosing or repairing the problem with me.

So I've this EHDD since 2015 (Toshiba 500gb) and for the past one year it's just been sitting in a box. It has pictures of my two daughters from birth until last year when I started to backup pictures to the cloud instead. I was supposed to backup the pictures on the HDD to the cloud but was very lazy a year ago!

This morning, I plugged into my work laptop (Windows Vista, Dell) and I heard the discs spinning a few times and it made a sound like a DJ scratching his discs. Since then, the discs are now spinning normally and the LED also turns on. When I click on 'My Computer', the window opens up and I can see the EHDD in drive f: but if I click anywhere on the screen, the whole laptop freezes. As soon as I unplug the EHDD, the laptop unfreezes. I thought this is because my work laptop is sh*t but this is also happening on my ASUS Tuf Gaming laptop with Windows 10.

So far I have tried using the chkdsk command on command prompt but it just doesn't do anything (like literally). I then tried booting into SAFE MODE and tried using the disk management to format and thereafter recover my files but this also freezes even though it's in SAFE MODE.

My friends,I am totally lost and in desperate need of your help or else the wife will kill me! Any help would be highly appreciated! Tq

Sim Card Keeps Deactivating

Hi Guys,

I've been in Malaysia for two months so forgive me for what might seem a silly question.

I have a Maxis prepaid sim card and I'm having to top it up every few days as it keeps geeting deactivated.

When I bought the sim I did use my passport so its defenitley registered to me.

Even though I have a balance on it, it gets disconnected? Then I have to top up again. My credit keeps building up as I have no one to call and this seems like a pointless exercise. In the UK, your prepaid sim is valid for life even with no balance on it. Is it different here?

Thanks in advance.
