We are looking for beta testers for a Travelopy Android app which focus on discover places and capture moments (like a simple journal).

1) You must have access to an Android (version 4.0.3 and above) phone.

2) Use the app to discover nearby places.

3) Use the app to capture at least 3 moments (a moment is a like a Facebook post about your eating and outing trip) with description, photos and places identified.

4) Sign Up as a user (Google account required)

5) Complete an online survey after the completion of the above task.

6) You are allowed to take up to 14 days to complete the tasks (the actual tasks take less than 20 minutes, but discovery of places and capturing of moments depends on location and opportunity).

7) You will be paid RM 20 upon completion of all the above tasks (must have a valid Malaysia Bank account as money will be GIROed).

We are looking for a beta users for a travel website (Travelopy) who fulfilled the following criteria:

1) You must own 3 digital photo albums (each album for different places with minimum of 50 photos each) of personal travel experience in the past 3 years.
2) All photos must be of reasonable quality (no “shaking”, no red eye, no bad lighting) with reasonable amount (30%) of photos is the actual place (without people in it, bystanders are acceptable).
3) You shall upload the photo to the website and it will be available for public viewing (you should filter out all photos you deemed too personal for public viewing).
4) Each album should have a title, a short description (minimum 50 words) and tagged with a location.
5) You shall write a short feedback of your experience of using the website and report any errors encountered.
6) This exercise could be done at the comfort of your home and shall take between 1-2 hours. We pay:
> RM 60 for this exercise.
> Extra RM 2 for each accurate tagging of unique location per photo (assuming you visited multiple places per album).
> Extra RM 5 if accurate error is reported.
7) This position is open for users with valid Malaysian bank account only (payment shall be GIROed). This is a limited BETA so we can only take in a small amount of users.

Need Buy/Rent/Beg for XBox 360 for GameDev

I am a hobbyist game developer and my team plan to participate in Dream-Build-Play 2009 (XBox Game Development Competition).

The problem is we need a XBox 360 with the HD version (not Arcade).
Please let me know where I can
1) Buy a unit with the cheapest price (I found a shop in SungeiWang selling for RM 1200)
2) Rent a unit for 2 weeks to a month
3) Borrow (Pinjam) a unit for 2 weeks to a month

As compensation for the Pinjam, you would get 10 copies of our free game (haha), or we could work out some monetary compensation.
If you are worry about letting your unit go for 2-4 weeks, I could drop by your place during weekend perhaps (if you allow me) and work at your place for a couple of hours.

Is Malaysia Web Hosting more expensive as compared

Is Malaysia Web Hosting more expensive as compared to US?
Recently I try to shop for a semi-dedicated hosting. I am quite satisfied with Exabytes so far, so I have a look at their package.

Exabytes: RM 2868 per year, 500GB Monthly Bandwidth, 1000Mhz CPU, 512 MB RAM. No mentioned of the computer specification - http://www.exabytes.com.my/products/hosting/linux/
And supprising at their US Website, it is USD 708 (RM 2336) - http://www.exabytes.com/products/hosting/linux/

I have a look at DownTown Host. Fairly recommended by some forum.
DownTown Host: USD 731 per year (RM 2413), 500GB Monthly Bandwidth. Computer Spec: Dual Code, 4GB ram - http://www.downtownhost.com/semidedicated.html

ServInt. Only offer VPS, supposingly being used by KennySia.com
ServInt: USD 588 per year (RM 1940), 500GB Monthly Bandwidth, 1GB Burst RAM (368 RAM Guaranteed) - http://www.servint.net/vps/details.php#essential

I am not picking on Exabytes, I randomly check other Malaysian Web Host also being priced almost the same. I random go through some UK web host, even their pricing also cheaper than ours.

So is it really true that US/UK hosting is cheaper than Malaysia. And any idea why is it so?
