my appletv is bricked

two days ago, my appletv just refused to switch ON.

I suspect this is due to firmware upgrade.

(1) tried to restored it using the silver remote but failed
(2) also tried using mini usb cable and connect to window pc with itunes ... also failed

help ...

(a) need idea(s) how to fix this
(b) or where shall I send it for repair
