Can I use any type of m.2 pcie?

This is my motherboard : MSI z170A Pro Gaming Carbon. It can support m.2 pcie gen 3 x4.

Question is, can I install any m.2 PCIe Gen 3x4 in the market other than those model listed as "compatible" according to their website? Or should I just stick to the model listed as compatible? This motherboard is quite old and I guess that the compatible list is not updated with current m.2 model, I think.

Currently I have one HyperX 8GB 2666 Mhz (HX426C16FB2/8) as picture shown.

Now I want to add another one for dual channel but can't seem to find the exact model. Mostly sells the new one with new heatsink but operate at same speed (HX426C16FB3/8).

Can they safely paired for dual channel with XMP enabled? My motherboard is MSI Z170A Gaming Pro Carbon.

How to stop data reminder on Realmi 5i?

Just bought a realmi 5i. Currently im using unifi mobile which the data is unlimited so no worries there. The problem is my phone kept reminding me whenever i reach 1GB data usage. I have turned it off (data reminder) but still the reminder kept on popping and stop the data unless I choose to select continue. This is quite tiresome since Im using data a lot. I have updated the Color OS to the latest just now but still it happens.

4G Signal Booster

Hello. I just moved in to a new resident. Here's my problem now:

1. Although my house do have 4G signal, it's fairly moderate, 2 to 3 bars can go around 3-6 mbps, sometimes can go up to 10mbps, but very rarely (late night).
2. Within this MCO, things got worse. Can't even get 1 mbps at day. Only able to go 1-2.5mbps during 1am onwards (late night also).
3. No fibre services is available at my street. Not even unifi air. I've checked with all telcos.
4. Even streamyx also they said will be very slow (below 2mbps). The TM agent don't recommend at all.

The only choice I have is using PDANet to surf on my PC with moderate 4G signal. In this MCO sometimes the signal becomes so weak that I can't seem to connect at all. Even viewing a single image in whatsapp took ages.

Mind you that my residence here is not deep kampung. Right next to my residence area is a big AEON Mall. Even the streets close to mine do have fibre service.

So I plan to use a 4G signal booster. Which to choose? Any recommendations? Can it really boost the moderate signal to full?

Monitor screen problem

Hello there. Need opinion here. Do refer to the attached photo.

This problem sometimes will happen and I have to turn off the monitor for a few seconds, then turning it on again and it will be back to normal. It only happens whenever I use the on board graphics. If I use my GC, it won't happen at all. (Right now waiting for my new GC to arrive. My old GC sold already)

I've downloaded latest driver, but to no avail. Any thoughts???

Can my system runs Hackintosh?

I make it simple for you guys. First of all, some details about my pc:

Proc: Intel core i5-3470
MoBo: Asrock Z77 Extreme 4
Ram: Corsair VENGEANCE DUAL-CHANNEL 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600MHz 9.9.9.24 (CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9G)

1. 4 months ago one of my ram cannot be detected. My PC cannot boot when one of the ram stick is in use, no matter which slot I insert it into.
2. Got one of my friend to test it, he confirms, that one ram is not working and cannot be detected at all. So, I assume the ram is dead. Just using the one that still working (4 gig left).
3. Last month, my pc wont be able to boot, and I got the error 55 code. I thought maybe one of my hardware is dead and causing the system to be unable to boot.
4. Out of cusiosity, I borrowed one piece of regular Corsair Value ram from my friend just to make sure.
5. Took out my ram, and inserted my friend's. Suddenly, My pc able to boot to Windows without any problem.
6. I took out my friend's ram, inserted my own ram and my pc was not able to boot, stuck at error 55 code like before.

So, is my ram for sure is faulty and dead already? I never encounter any dead ram before. It seems that both my ram just dead out of sudden, one stick at a time. Is this possible??

No POST, no display, NOTHING..

Here is my problem:

1. On my pc, all lights, fans running but no POST no display. No beep error.
2. Take off rams and GC. Clean heatsink everything. Put it back again.
3. On my pc, boom! 4 beep errors. No POST no display. (restart again n again with same behavior)
4. Take out ram, insert back. Turn on PC. This time no 4 beep errors but still no POST no display.
5. Change from GC display to on board display, success.
6. Try re-insert GC, on PC. No POST no display.
7. Use the on board display, success.

And here is my system.

1. Intel Core i5 3470 @ 3.2 Ghz
2. Asrock Z77 Extreme 4
3. Sapphire HD7870XT
4. Enermax NAXN 650Watt
5. Corsair Vengeance 2 x 2048 GB 1066Mhz
5. Others typical stuff, one HDD one DVDRW, 1 120mm intake fan, 2 x 80mm outtake fan.. Nothing fancy..

So, what is the cause? GC? PSU? (All the fans on my GC running fine though..)

All i remember is that they are two sides (the good guys v/s the bad guys) and all of them wearing some sort of armor. Each on their armored chest is a sigil / shield that resembles an animal. Each one has their own sigil. They can project whatever sigil they're wearing and the animal will be materialised in front of them.

Currently i have a 2x4GB Corsair Dominator "Gold" (CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9G) runs in dual channel mode. I want to add another 2 pairs of the exact 2x4GB but I can't find the Gold one. All i can find is the other color, red / blue. Can I mix them?

4mb user, fasst DDL but slow YouTube

I'm a 4mb TM streamyx user. Using google dns for over a year now my speed was awesome, downloading and streaming on YouTube. Sometimes I stream whole 1.5 hours of documentaries without lag. (on 360p)

Nowadays lots of YouTube video seems slow and buffering like sh1t. Few videos are fine but MANY took forever to buffer. It even degrades to 240p which is also looks like sh1t on my fullHD monitor. The funny thing is, my ddl seems fine as always. Speedtest fine as always. Is TM starts to cap YouTube??

[SOLVED]Slow wireless network connection

I just formatted my pc and bought a new D'link DWA 123 Wireless dongle. the problem is that, the speed of my wireless connection fluctuating and haywire. Never stabilised at 54mbps as it should be. I just bought this dongle yesterday. my previous one broken but the speed with that dongle (same model) never drop and fluctuate like this. i havent moved anything at all. both my pc and my router are at the same exact spot, which isn't very far. My 4mb streamyx now have gone wayy too slow for me. The line is OK. my brother using a laptop can get 3.89 mpbs of speedtest. mine can barely go above 1mbps at this moment. help me sifu.. (im using win 7 ultimate)

Update:

ok just installed the dongle at my bro laptop, which is now right beside my pc, so distance is not a factor. the speed is fine..so the dongle is not the problem here.. what is causing this.?

Problem solved. Found out the culprit after much research on the net. its the XFast Lan from Asrock Z77 Extreme 4 mobo. It's a good program (i think), maybe I accidentally clicked / enabled / disabled something while I was trying to get rid of the Xfast Lan widget. I unsintalled it, reboot and now my connection is as stable as before. Streaming youtube lag no more and downloading as fast as it should be.. thank you all for the replies..

i cannot install my dlink adapter even with the recently downloaded 64 bit driver. i try to plug in another wifi adapter (another brand) also cannot. funny with my older mobo just plug n play no hassle. is it the mobo? or the 64 bit OS? really tired now its 4 am already and it getting onto my nerve...

Just bought a new mobo. but now realized that it doesn't include any screws and washers in the packaging. My old washers i gave it along with my previous mobo which i sold weeks ago. The big question is, is it safe to install the mobo just using screws without any washers? can it be short circuited???
