SUGGESTION TO REDUCE CON CASES

i have a very good suggestion to all mods.... i ve learned this from a forum in my country, why do not trusted mods make a sharing account for representing all LYN members, meaning that if a buyer wants to buy stuff from untrusted seller, he/she can transfer the money first to that sharing account, once the money is wired already, that moderator will inform the seller that he/she can deliver the item already. after the item is reached to the buyer's place, the buyer will check whether the item is appropriately described in the ad, after that the buyer will inform the moderator, and the moderator will transfer the money to the seller. but this will happen if only the seller agrees with this sharing account transaction, which means agreement between the seller and the buyer. ( but if the seller is genuine and the item really exists, nothing has to be worried about right) I know it's a bit complicated, but I will conclude in this way:

ps: moderator will get the service fee depending on the amount of the transaction, this can be discussed amongst all mods.

simple ways to summarize all above:

1. the seller can not COD due to different location
2. the buyer offers to deal through a sharing account ( held by the moderators )
3. if the seller agrees, then the buyer will inform the moderator and proceed the payment ( usually the service charge will be settled by the buyer)

4. after the moderator gets the payment, the mod will inform the seller and ask to deliver the item.
5. after the buyer gets the item and the item is right as the thread says, then the buyer will inform the moderator.
6. lastly, the mod will transfer the money to the seller's account.

how do u guys think? was there any idea like this before? this sharing account will reduce the con cases, trust me....

claiming the warranty from DELL

guys, jus a quick question here, I recently bought a dell inspiron 1420 from someone, and later I found out that there is one dead pixel on the monitor and the battery is faulty as well. the warrant for this machine is still 3 months left, wat I wanna ask is do I need to know the first owner's name who firstly purchased this laptop in order to claim the warranty from DEll in Pj area there? because the person whom I bought this laptop from doesnt know the name as he also bought the laptop from the other person as well.

pls guys help me out on the answers as I really do not know about this. ur help is much appreciated. thanks in advance.

ok , let's get straight the point, the story goes like this...

I bought a laptop from this guy and as u guys can see from the original thread, he stated clearly that he wud provide the bag. But since I was in overseas, I asked my gf to deal with this guy. When this guy came to my gf's condo he only brought the laptop itself and the charger as well... my gf was wondering but then she cudnt call me since I was doing exams. My gf did ask this seller why there is no bag, but he told her that I already knew about this matter. ok fine. few hours later my gf called me up and said abt this, of course I was like quite shocked la....

I know it's only a bag, but I really dnt like the way he sells things... Very2 dishonest.

so mod, pls advice what I am supposed to do.. I kept asking him regarding the bag, but since how many days I forgot, he has been ignoring me with no reasons at all. I did PM, SMS, and even call him, but still, He is not taking any responsibility in order to settle this matter

any advice wud be much2 appreciated. thanks

Guys, pls help me out... i have an acer aspire 4315-050508Mi and I really can't find drivers for LAN and Wireless devices... I tried the ones provided by the site, and they seem not to work on this machine.... I tried Broadcom Marvel, and atheros... anyone who has the same lappy? pls share with me... really appreciate ur help guys. thanks a bunch

How to recover my external hard disk

Ok guys, just straight to the point, So basically I moved all my important files onto my external hard disk, and after a while out of nowhere, the hard disk can't be detected at all which makes me unable to get the files. but the weird thing is when I open device manager , the hard disk can be detected and can be seen as well. Any advice guys? I already tried on many PCs and the same problem occurred... Pls anyone, what can I do to get this read? thanks in advance, and ur help is much appreciated..

Details of the complaint :

OK, this is how the story goes, on April 20th, I got a message from extremeocer saying that he wanted to sell off his Q600 and asking me whether I was interested in or not. Since I was desperately in a need of this Q6600, I asked him whether he was interested in trading his Q6600 with my E6600 or not. Then we got a deal which I needed to top up Rm230. afterwards He wanted me to bank the money in directly at that time because he said that urgently he wanted to use the money straight away. I know he got a dispute tag, but why on earth I always dare doing this and I am not afraid of because I ve been having quite many deals with him recently. and the money involved was nearly 1.5K also We have been helping each other, chatting and sharing. So I guess it just should be fine.

He promised to me that he was gonna send out the item on the following day which was on 22th. when the day came, I smsed him when he could send the item out, he replied me that it would be during lunch hour. After I waited until around 3 pm, he seemed to miss the action, So I smsed him, no replies from him, i called him up, he also didnt pick the phone calls, aihhhhh...

and at night he messaged me saying that he was in accident and cudnt reply my messages or pick the phone calls up. and he gave me another promise saying that he would ship the item on the next day which was on 23rd. I was still ok lah...

on 23rd itself, he messaged me that he cudnt be able again. argh!! i said to him that if he really couldnt send the item out on that day, I wanted a refund fully at the night time. nearly 5 pm he messaged me that he in fact wasnt be able to send the item out and he wanted to refund the money afterwards. I waited again, still no news from him I messaged him, no replies, i called him, also no replies. .. and in the morning of the following day, he gave me a message saying sorry because of his personal reason, and he gave me another promise to bank the money in at night again. I waited... still no news until 7 pm something, i smsed him no replies, i called him up, no replies AGAIN! and suddenly he gave me a message that he's in the hospital, and cant go out yet, so he's asking his friend to bank the money in for me. I waited until 12 PM, still no news from him. i called him again, NOTHING! I smsed him, NOTHING! until now I aint got anything from him. I still have no credits, once I top up, I try to give him phone calls as many as I can. I guess he wants to run away.

seriously I am really mad at this guy IAN HO KAM HO <------ his real name. I am a student who is very hard to get the money. I was saving up my money, and u think U can jus run my money like that? I know where U live, dont u ever think I wont do such things ok. Just gimme back the damn money as soon as possible. Now My pc doesnt have the processor yet, and I ve got a big project going on which has to be done very soon.

so people, if u have any information abt him, pls tell me ok.

pls people, dont assume that I am the one who's stupid banking the money into a person who has the dispute tag. but I ve been dealing with him so many times, and even I banked the money in more than Rm230, so I jus feel like nothing wrong with that. having a problem in finding the files

halo guys, I really have some serious problem now, aiksss.... Basically I wanted to reformat My friend's laptop which Is IBM brand, But She needs all the personal files fully kept safe which I am trying to do rite now.

I was going through the IBM rescue and recovery, But it seems I really cudnt find the files saved on my external hard drive. obviously I could find the rest except the files from documents and settings which exactly my friend wants them to be saved. Haiyaaaa, iam getting so stressed up rite now.... can anyone here help me out how to find those files? but the weirdest thing is When I tried to recopy the files, I can see documents and settings' files appear on my external hard disk, but Once I plugged it onto another PC, all the files are gone missing.... Or maybe I just dunno how to find them??

pls take a note: all the files appear, only the files from documents and settings are either invisible or totally gone missing, and Once I wanted to recopy those files, the files can be seen on my external hard drive...

I really appreciate all the answers as In I really need them urgently...thanks I advance

halo guys...my mobo is lanparty cfx 3200...my question is Do I Need to flash its bios to the latest one?? and what bios is it???

iam having a problem in overclocking my opteron 144 to 3.0......i just wonder whether it's because of its bios or what?? assuming that If i changed the bios to the latest bios My opty could go further..heh2eh2e..

[WTA] how to remove ISF on opteron 144?

Halo Guys..... I would like to ask Some advices for me to do this thing....

one of the forumers has ever said to me that removing ISF is going to be better in overclocking my opty 144...

but i really do not know what exactly ISF is....how it looks like and how to remove IT as well....

I tried to google for searching some info...but then I didnt find any of information...

so can U guys help me out in searching the link and tell me how good it is If ISF was removed on that....thanks..really appreciate ur feedback..
