I m going to this 2 pcs. As far i its only router but no modem function. I will need use it at 3 floor building. So this is the setting I think will work. If i connect 2nd router to 1st router using 1 of its port, will this port burn out? And for the speed, will it get balance for all ports? TQ

USB 3.1 type C to Apple Thunderbolt Display

Hi guys, recently I got a Apple Thunderbolt Display. This monitor come with [male] Mini DisplayPort (DP)connector. I m thinking whether got a adapter that come with [female] mini displayport convert to any type of version usb? What i found is [female] mini DP to standard size DP

This monitor only support old days Macintosh, for the newest Mac need convertor. Usage for PC seem quite hard especially only a few notebook with usb 3.1 type c with function thunderbolt. For desktop PC need add expansion card with thunderbolt feature (use pci e slot). I dont know whether is it worth to buy this card onot... I found many adapter that use for mac not pc.

Is there any alternative way to use this monitor? Thx!

Btw my PC notebook got usb 3.1 type c but suppose dont have thunderbolt function. What if i accidentally by plug that monitor connector to my notebook, will my notebook usb port burn?

In fact I want to settle privately in pm but eventually #Hotlink staffs give me many answer! Some said its only cost me rm60 to change your plan that got 365 days validity one time pay, later on only rm33 every yr. But some said you need pay rm60 every yr.

After been twice do confirmation with them I just need pay rm33/yr then I only change plan with my 2 numbers.

After 1 yr mine 365 days validity ended. I ask the same question again. They still cant answer correctly!

Electric wiring

Guys, i want to do modification from 1 light switch then add more 2 wall sockets. I mean 1 LS => 1 LS + 2 WS. The original light switch wiring is 2 wire but 1 color so its without ground wire. Now I able wiring 1 light switch and 2 wall sockets together but when light on, both wall sockets without electricity. When light off, both wall sockets got power.

I know wall sockets without ground/earth(green) wire may increase the risk electrical shock but for some country their wiring only got red(live) and blue(neutral). For my case, i think i will use appliance with small electricity instead hair dryer to prevent shock circuit.

Is there any possible no matter light on/off, both wall sockets can run electricity? How to do the wiring? TQ

Connecting T8 light and ceiling fan

Dont know which forum can ask these technical question, i guess this the only forum mix question... Moderator, if u think my questions should ask in which proper forum, pls help me move. tq.

I want to connect a few T8 light together (in series i guess most simple) at the end with a 3 pin plug. i dont knw how to extend new wire from power box so i guess with 3 pin plug is most easiest. I wanna know the max or around how many T8 light can connect together? i know at power box can add on a larger "rectangle thing" (dunno wat is name) to give more power current like for welding. but like i said i dunno these too much...

and i want add ceiling fan too with 3 pin plug. normal "rectangle thing" can support how many ceiling fan? 1 fan controller switch can control a few ceiling fan (if a few ceiling can connect together in series lah). i was install ceiling fan without fan controller switch and let the ceiling fan run the max speed. if let say i connect 3 ceiling fan in series together without fan controller switch, possible? dangerous?

dont worry, this is not my 1st time install T8 light and ceiling fan. i successful install a dozen lastime by follow previous technician wiring but only 1 power source for 1 light or fan.

btw, i was also thinking b4 to get some courses in electronic and electrical but dunno where can i go for study. i want more practical rather theory class. i live cheras, any place i can learn from? can intro? dont want those need spm cert in order to attend class. if got chinese language as second teaching language, its more better. tq tq

Hello. I need a solution to input and output 4K resolution for long distance with low budget. If i purely use long hdmi cable connection, i think its expensive and distance consider short if i replace wit hdmi extender + rj45 cable.

I wanna know
1) network cable cat5/5e/6 can support hdmi v2.0 bandwidth?

2) video and sound quality for this setup will decrease or lossy when transfer?

3) i found some info about limitation of cat5/5e/6

Rajurajz told me his base at ipoh but do offer postage. i reject coz i blif no one wil resposible if in d middle lost. My base at kl but my sis in slim river. she might nearer than me. in calling conversation between us totaly cant properly can settle thg. i nid confess my english no so well so i prefer black n white sms or texting n let it b a proof.

in his post he stated d deadline to preorder. i do manage call him up b4 d deadline few hour but he told me im d last minute customer nid to pay 50% instead 30%. so i oso try to considerate on behalf as a middle man might not got such a huge cash to pay. so 50% i paid too. we deal by meet at tesco ipoh wit my sis but not confirm when coz no one alwaz free. but he insist i confirm wit time i promise.

so after d date stock arriving a few day, i call him. he said im the one who shud call him up on d arrived date. as a genuine seller i think he shud b d one giv some 'a little bit service' like contact buyer rite? like pm, sms, callin or even a misscall. he said 'u shud call me but u dint so i tok u ignore d deposit'. Anyone here wud simply let their rm1400 deposit gone, pls rise up ur hand, i want b ur seller! i do in d same time deal wit another seller wit cheaper price buying hp too. he did pm me, properly sealbox n deal wit successfully.

tis seller raj told me my deposit burn. n dunno wat he said" he got keep my stok in hand but i dint call him so he return the stok. n said he oso nid to pay 50% for my stok. so my deposit n his another 50% ady paid then dats y stok on his hand rite but now he told me my deposit in his supplier cant refund. he told me wait for 2 weeks for 2nd batch coming then help me buy.

fr d beginning til d end i try not ask for refund coz i do hoping tis biz deal n blif non of seller hoping tis thg happen. i try to press my worry or even anger coz once money pay to a person u never meet b4, he can run away easily. eventualy he told in d last sms stok burn. i dun care wat so ever how u wil deal wit ur supplier or no stok, refund wil do. refund or deal d biz other explain no meaning.

i do did research b4 dealed anythg. like other lowyat member said, he con b4 by other seller so dats y i try put faith into to blif him. i oso knw he got other selling bside lowyat. i oso pm other buyer of him, see his reputation in tis selling gud onot. now jez waiting him for further action.

But he keep told me he is busy n wanted explain. and i ask him come at here do watever he wanted explain. in phone talking i got no chance to talk but he keep talking. black n white wud b beter.

Just giv me a date: cod date or refund date. Explain no use anymore.

i got streamyx with modem Dlink-2542b 4port. I got 1 desktop computer (p4 2.4ghz) and 2 laptop (oso old type but stil able use winVista with build in wireless card). im thinking to use 1 of my switch modem port to use wifi. tis port only use for android/iphone suft net. Got "anythg" can solve tis?

In market too many network hardware terms...Access point, router, some built in modem...wat "thg" do i need?

I stil want use previous wired network(coz all my system stil old) and hoping use only 1 port to wireless hp surf net.

i never use wireless thg b4. how's d setting u knw? or jez plug n play?

i knw some brand like dlink, tp-link(consider ok), cisco, 3com(expensive), and huawei, zte(dare not take, feel make in china, low quality).

i got switch (D-Link 8-Port 10/100 Switch DES-1008D) long time ago but dunno how to use it or LAN computers together. I think if i want use it wit my dsl modem then i nid subcribe a better high speed streamyx.

these are d gadgets i got. any suggest to fully use my gadgets?

1st of all thanks 4 watching. I bought a pickup but the shop din help me install parts of pickup. So i nid diy myself... The front pickup part i think is ok but only now the last part donno how to join. My pickup is Sunrise Pickup.

but i dun reli understand without step by step picture to connect with. If reli follow the instruction, F and G and turn upside down but i think dat's not a problem.

I believe A is connect to Ground. B is shortest, C second long, D was the longest. E is pickup itself put at guitar soundboard hole, F and G connect together. And the last part was make me headache, I and H connect which ABCD. H is center insulated wire, I should b connect to Ground. My fren told me I shud connect to ground, and H connect B and C together. Is it correct? In fact he dunno anythg abt pickup so i din reli got faith on him.

Hello ther~ In fact i ady subscript my own topic"Sept6th Updated again! VVIP 010,013,016,019" to let me easier bump...but dunno y recently tis few mth my post auto set to topic "CLOSE"...n 2day i want search it out 2bump it but unfortunately unable find it out even i find it page by page until 50+ pages...I dun1 evry day like dat page by pages searching find it out...Even thou i got few no 2sell but i stil insist use 1 post not like other forumer...

When i go2 my subscripted topic and find it then the system show "Sorry, some required files are missing, if you intended to view a topic, it's possible that it's been moved or deleted. Please go back and try again." Then i use lowyat's search engine 2search my name to find my topic...my topic is found but the search engine said "Sorry, the link that brought you to this page seems to be out of date or broken."

Help me solve d problem otherwise i think i nid2 create a new post 4my old n same topic 4 "update" my "new topic but post old" Thx!r less. --
