Unifi Problem

My house internet will become very slow when some housemate is at home. I used p2pover to check/limit on them but the internet still sux.

The housemates are using p2p services which i can see from their high upload/download. But when i use p2pover to limit their bandwidth to minimum, the situation doesn't improve.

It shouldn't be the signal problem cz the signal is at full bar in my room. I suspect the modem cant withstand so many devices connecting to it (about 20 devices, including computer and phones), plus the usage of p2p software. But i might be wrong.

Any guru/sifu can help pinpoint the problem and provide some possible solutions?

Capital Accumulation

Hi sifus,

I wanna start saving up my salary every month to build up a capital so i can start some investment. What is the best way to do this?

I have thought of FDs but the return seems non-significant for a low amount of fund n short period.

What I am looking at is a saving of Rm1k per month for 6 months. Then I can have a capital of at least 6k to start the investment.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi guys,

I would like to purchase a new set PC, preferably a customize one cz I heard it has better performance n most importantly, cheaper price.

Now I have nothing on my hand except an old laptop, so I have to build the whole thing from scrape.

The specs I hope to archive are:

Intel® Core™ i3/i5 Processor

4GB of RAM

Middle-end HDD

Middle-end graphic card (not a hardcore gamer, but hopefully it can support 2 monitors)

Durable power supply and motherboard

Hopefully can get these below RM 1K, including the OS and everything (except the monitor keyboard n etc ofcz).

Please advise for the price and wher is the best place for me to go in KL area. Thanks in advance.
