Subscribe online chinese novel sites

Anyone knows how to subscribe to online chinese novel websites eg qidian, zhongheng, 17k etc.

I develop a habit of reading these chinese wuxia novels, so far thru aggregators sites.

Feel sort of quilty so will like to properly subscribe.
But but while I can read chinese fairly well, totally sucks at writing or typing. So cannot follow the website instructions.

Amyone has a way to subscribe using non- china handphone no.?

Thanks in advance.

Both my Celcom lines unable to connect to network in USA.
That means no calls, SMS and no TAC.

Anybody with experience how to fix?

I tot all recent mobile phones support US network.

Contacted Celcom and will take 3-7 days to just get an answer by email. Their messenger support is totally hopeless

No problems in other countries. US only.

Cannot do any online banking or credit card transaction....

Wiring - why so many colors and sizes

Sorry to open another thread, but I got confused with my house wiring.

Last night, my wireman send a Bangla to change one of my downlights - square, many small LEDs type - not lighting up.

I notice that there are 5 wires altogether hanging from the ceiling - 2 black, 2 green and 1 blue, all 'thin' wires

From the downlight, I saw 2 'very thin' blue wires coming out from the ballast, and 1 thin black wire with cap from the centre of the mounting.

The Bangla fella joined the 'very thin' wires from the ballast to 2 of the 5 wires (can't see which ones)
He then grab the 2 green wires, join up the exposed copper, and twist the copper round the metal clip of the downlight.

I asked him betul ke macam ini. He said something I cannot understand.
Called the wireman. He say it is OK.

Q1 : why 5 wires? I learned in secondary school only need 3. Google also say 3. And why color like that one.

Q2 : Is that the correct way to fix the LED light? why need to twist wire on clip?

Q3 : The wires from the ballast are really 'very thin'. Ok or not?

I DIY a lot of stuff, but for electric, I always leave to professionals ( banglas ?)

Thanks for any enlightenment.

Alarm or CCTV

I am currently looking for an alarm security for new house.

Maybe bcos I look like, talk like and walk like a waterfish, the vendors pull out the big knife and start hard-selling me CCTV also.

Cost of CCTV is >2x that of alarm

My main concern is personal safety when at home. The alarm will provide early warning, so we can run or call for help.
If nobody in the house, no bodily risk, not so worry if got break-in, nothing much to steal.

So to me, an alarm is more important.

The CCTV will be helpful if I want to see where the intruders are after alarm is triggered.
So I reckon I need minimum CCTV only.

But all the vendors so far give quote mainly on CCTV - 8 to 12 camera + big expensive recorder + costly wiring.
Alarm become side-package. Not what I want.

Any opinions? Are the vendors correct in recommending CCTV over alarm?
Gas piping from outside

Hi

For health and safety reasons, I am considering to put my gas tank outside the house, behind kitchen.
Will built a concrete table with aluminium door to store and lock it. (Like the tong sampah in front)

problem is the piping will have to be at least 8 ft long to reach my gas hob.

Will that be a danger if I just use normal gas hose? Or should I install copper gas pipes for this purpose.

We cook a lot, and wifey refuse to use induction cooker (no fire, cannot fry big big)

Five feet extension only - need footing?

I plan to extend my back kitchen just 5 feet. Width = 30 ft.

One contractor say must do 3 pieces of 3' x 3' footing to make sure no sinking later.

Second contractor say no need, make the 'bar' structure only. No problem one. only extend 5 feet-mah.

Which advice to follow? The footings will cost extra, of course.
