L**K**W*** Uni offering Civil Eng'ring Degree WTF!

Like LOL right??? They are now even offering courses in Built Environment, and even a degree in Civil Engineering! Yup, that's right---a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering---a professional Engineering degree! Though i know how the L**K**W*** boss obtain the necessary recognitions through his political associate in UMNO a.k.a. someone whose name start with the letter M, but he really got guts! Everybody in the Education sector knows this uni don't produce graduates with sufficient knowledge and skills, and many companies in Malaysia really don't like to take their graduates into their workforce. Now the big boss just rides on the need of the country for civil engineers and bam---come out with an Engineering degree! Imagine what damage those "engineers' are gonna bring to our country if they are really employed to fill the roles of "Civil Engineers"!

Goddamn!

Hyperloop between SG and KL?

The Elon Musk just proposed this new "Hyperloop" thingy. Sounds impressive. He's the guy who revolutionalised many things--Paypal, Tesla Motors and SpaceX--though i don't think he started from scratch, must have got some money from his coffers. Nevertheless, he claimed his "Hyperloop" builds and operates much cheaper than the proposed high-speed rail between Los Angeles and San Francisco (which by the way are my two most admired cities) and runs triple the speed of it.

If this thing is really built, it will put all bullet trains on earth to shame and fast forward the technology of travel for two generations-- in my opinion.

So, is it feasible to build this thing to replace the proposed high-speed rail between KL and SG? (i mean scrap the old plan of building the high speed rail.

Should we fast forward the travel teachnolgy? Will it post a threat to Malaysia Airlines and other regional airlines? Will Singapore resist this idea or embrace it?

Open for discussion.

How to effectively provide air ventilation in room

As mentioned in the title, i'm looking for ways to effectively ventilate my room when i close all my windows.

I'm very sensitive to noise and there are always fireworks going on occasionally outside my house, so i want to close the windows but still wants good air ventilation within my room.

I've found out that plants emit carbon dioxide at night though they produce oxygen in daytime. So, it can't a feasible option if i want to ventilate my room in night time.

Anyone has any suggestion at all? Any mechanical systems or electrical systems that can effectively ventilate my room yet not too costly, are welcome too
