Problem details
First occurence of problem: around 4.50am today
Problem frequency: a few times I think this year
Problem description: I could not access most sites on the net except Google-based and Lowyat. Website taking too long to respond / connection time-out. I tried resetting the modem, restarting computer all also didn't solve the problem. If I recall correctly last time the problem solved over time. But at the moment I want to know what is the problem actually and is there anything I can do to resolve this quickly ( in the middle of streaming Ned vs Arg match just now before the problem occurred just right after the half-time)

ps; not sure if this will help or indicate anything but just now when I try ping facebook.com something like TTL expired in transit appear once in awhile.

Sapphire HD6790 problems

I had this random recurrence problem where the fan of this gc went nuts and and then the monitor went out. I'm not sure if the system also shut. It also happen when I tried to switch on the pc. The fan looks like it goes speeding and the system won't boot unless I try for a few more times. At first I didn't know it was the fan that make the loud noise when the system suddenly shut down or won't boot up. After a few checkups I only realize it was the fan that has been giving me headache. Now, the trick to get my system running is to hold the fan until the boot up screen showed at the monitor. Does anyone have any idea what is wrong with this gc or specifically the fan? I'm an average pc user who didn't know shit about OC and never done anything to tweak the software, hardware or the os.

[WTA] Viewsonic VX2253MH LED Monitor

Recently I bought Viewsonic LED Monitor VX2253MH. The monitor works great. But one thing bugs me is when I connect PC to monitor using HDMI cable the fonts on screen on OS and all application become blurry and less sharp compared if I connect using VGA cable. I tried to printscreen and showed the blurriness but somehow the .jpeg file turn out the fonts is sharp and just fine. I wonder what caused this? Do other setting/setup required because believe me I've been fiddling with the monitor setting but to no avail. Or is it the cable is no good?

One more thing that bug me is sometimes when I played videos, or played games, or doing anything or even simply stare at the monitor with my eyeball moving around quickly I'll notice in a frame of seconds some small dark dots across the screen. It annoys me when I played a high definition music videos and this dots constantly appearing for a flash second. Is this normal for LED monitor or is just this Viewsonic monitor? Is there any solution for it?

Any help, suggestion or advice is highly appreciated. Thanks

Original Galaxy S vs Galaxy S Plus

So, basically this two phone almost identical in every aspect except the processor and the gpu plus some other minor things. I'm considering buying my first ever android phone and since Galaxy S price has been dropped like shiet been weighing on this two model. The price for new set (AP set) for both model not that far apart with differences just around RM20 to RM80 so its all come down to the features and specifications. I've read the review from gsmarena and come to this conclusion;

Galaxy S - better audiophiles and GPU.
Galaxy S Plus - superior processor and longer battery life.

My main reason to buy android smartphone is for listen to music, watch movies and stuff, and playing games, so the original Galaxy scored this one but just add another more or less RM20 you'll get a superior processor and longer battery life its quite hard to ignore the Galaxy S Plus. So, need some advices/opinions/experiences/suggestions on this one. Does 0.4GHz more make a big difference, does superior GPU in original Galaxy will make huge difference in watching movies or playing games and so on?

Hi, all sifus and gurus, or anyone that already have this monitor on the 3D experience. I want to know how's the experience? Does it it need extra peripheral like Nvidia 3D Vision kit to really experience 3D gaming? the thing is this monitor is for my soon-to-be newly built system which consist of ATi HD6850 so those Nvidia kit is out of the question already.

From the features and specification I read here, seems that I don't even need those kit;

At the moment, I just finished Energon and my oh my how suck it is. I reluctantly have to endured watching the series until the end. Next is Cybertron and I hope it gets better, or is it? Any of you watched it already? Still searching through the net for Headmaster, Victory and Beast Wars. Is there any other series that I missed?

Already downloaded a few episodes from the latest installment and its looking good, although kinda not like a few design of the Transformers. But the story and animation quite neat..
