I wonder why gov cant b a bit creative to build tis kinda concept of resi. I reckon tis can save lotsa land require and gov can actually build it into 50 storeys and sell more units in a blk. Hence bring down the price of each unit if not lower by psf.

EXAMPLE

i bought a commercial building. two shoplots corner unit and the one next to it 3 floors. (hypothetical situation ler) S&P signed 1.5.2013

price RM10million

so before Budget announcing GST

expected completion is 4 years because got basement lar, got high rise lar. construction started and due for completion 1.5.2017. invoices will be 60% before implementation of GST. 40% anticipated after implementation of GST.

will the 40% to be invoiced be subjected to GST?

Good day to all sifus here. My boss is looking for a bungalow land maybe at the size of around 10k sf.

The usage could be for own stay if he is building it otherwise will be for investment if the capital appreciation is good in 5 years.

I hav an investment company in HK paying income tax every year. But I'm thinking of bringing back some $$$ to buy props here s a foreign company. Not sure if the investment is considered foreign purchase or local?

If I buy with cash, would LHDN argue tat I need to pay tax to them or just treat it s it is?

If I buy with loan fr bank, how much MOF do I get? Local rate? Min value at 500k?

Pls advise. I afraid I kena kao kao if I do so.
