I have quite a bit of family responsibilities taking care of parents. Would that be a put off for guys? For guys, would you ever date and marry a woman who has such responsibilities? Does it scare you?

Anyone taking care of elderly parents?

Am taking care of both my parents. Just wonder if any of you are and your thoughts on it especially when things get tough. I feel in Malaysia there's not much information or support groups on this.

I wonder how else others like me are coping and what do you guys do to continue good quality of life, chase our dreams/build our own life & at the same time keep our parents ok and happy.

Sometimes I find it overwhelmingly really...where my own life is like on hold. Great if you guys can share some stories, so that I know it's super common and we are not alone.

Study says women prefer men with big bellies

DETROIT (WJBK) - A new study says women prefer men with big bellies.

Three out of four women say they'd rather have a man with love handles than a six pack. Almost 100 percent of the women surveyed said men with beer bellies have better personalities than those with a good body.

They also say guys in shape prioritize the gym over spending quality time with their significant others.

The British survey was carried out to mark the DVD release of the film "Bad Neighbors", which pits buff college boy Zac Efron against family man, Seth Rogan.

Who are the middle class?

Institute for Democracy and Economic Affairs chief executive officer Wan Saiful Wan Jan said the middle class should consist of the middle 40 per cent with monthly incomes of at least RM3,000 all the way up to the top 20 per cent of incomes, which has a median of about RM9,800 for 2012. Based on the household income data for 2012, less than 51.8 per cent of Malaysian households belong in that category.

But does a household income of RM3,000 a month really put a family of four among the middle class?

Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) associate professor in economics Dr Lean Hooi Hooi said the middle class should be defined as individuals or households with RM4,000 to RM20,000 of disposable income every month.

“I think over the past five years, the inflation rate has been very high even though officially it was only at two to three per cent. We all feel the pain.

“Just go to the hawkers… for noodles or rice, prices go up 10 per cent every year,” she said in a phone interview recently.

Grooming for old dog

My terrier is now 15 years old and she has been difficult for the current groomer to groom. I also get worried because of her age (gets restless easily) and she's really fussy (doesn't allow me to groom her other than the usual bathing & drying). Squirms, wont-sit-still, nibbles, makes a big fuss everytime.

Any recommendations on groomers who are specialized in grooming older dogs? Feedback appreciated
