better source to look for new development

Hi,

I went to a couple of fair/expos and noticed that only famous developers are there. I am actually want to consider low profile developments also around Selangor area.
A few calls to banks revealed that I can only make loan around RM 300 000. So my budget will lower than RM 400 000.

My question is where do I go source for small development projects? Where do they go and advertise themselves anyway?

Thanks for your feedback. I noticed that I can still get subsale landed properties for below RM400000, but no more new projects with that kind of price.

CAREER CHANGE ADVICE for people with epilepsy

Hi All,

I've been living with epilepsy ever since I was 14 years old (now I'm 34). I've manage to be working for the last 10 years as a self taught draughtsman (no formal training).... I've chose this line because I like Inventing stuff.

Recently for the last 3 years my memory has been failing me and I "blank" out a lot of times during office hours (I'm concious but I can't recall any facts/or think). It got really worse and now I don't think I'm productive at work. I know it gets bad when I'm doing a lot of documentation work. Sometimes I forget words that I going to use in my conversation.

I seriously thinking about changing my career and avoid heavy clerical type of work. Are there any suggestions out there about new jobs that I should consider and how to break into them?

Thanks in advance.

sharing my nightmare experience buying nokia phone

Hi recently bought a nokia phone and went trhough a nightmare of a experience... just want to share it in the forum. Lessons i learned:
- when buying, purchse with your credit card- better protection
- after purchase, you should check the status of the phone at the nokia care centre.. to see wheter its brand new or not.

Apperently there is condition in the nokia warranty card that i didn't read that states NOKIA CARE can refuse warranty previliges if you bring warranty card only. If the phone is registered in somebody else's name, they ask for purchase recepit. Apparently my phone has Maxis Telecommunication has the owner name, and the online detail of the warranty date has expired one month after my purchase date. They will of extended 12 month warranty after showing the receipt.

Next time I'm just getting a AP phone.

My phone: NOKIA E72 Zitron unit bought from BBS distribution. Here's my e-mail correspondence with NOKIA MALAYSIA:

QUOTE

I will not deal will your authorized distributor or care center anymore because the phone was registered under another name, and I will not accept any "extended warranty" they were offering me. I will sure make that Malaysian consumer are aware that to check the IMEI number of the phone before it is purchased, no matter who the dealer is. I am officially cancelling the warranty service the are offering and and will deal with the BBS to demand the refund for the warranty I paid for. Next time I am making sure I purchased from the non-authorized dealer and checking the IMEI status of the phone. Sorry but if I wanted a used phone then I would bought from a used phone dealer.
P/S: My warranty card is in a garbage bin in Zitron's office, the BBS staff stationed there threw it in. I got no evidence now the phone is mine.
Thank you very much for your information. I will put this information and e-mail on the web.

- XXXXX

From: "ext-custservicemy@nokia.com" <ext-custservicemy@nokia.com>
To: XXX@yahoo.com
Sent: Monday, 29 August 2011, 12:21
Subject: Nokia - XXXXX - Nokia E72 - Warranty

This Nokia Customer Care message is in response to your email request
Reference #: 1-11823166566

Dear Mr. XXXXX,

Thank you for emailing Nokia Careline.

We greatly appreciate your continued support of our products and services and are happy to help you. I only found out after 4 weeks of purchase, when I went to repair my phone at a nokia care centre when they told me that the warranty had expired a month ago. I went to the Authorized distributor listed in NOKIA website:
Zitron Enterprise (M) Sdn Bhd
11th Floor, Menara BGI, Plaza Berjaya, Jalan Imbi
Their reply was to see the dealer, which was also listed in NOKIA website:
BBS Distributions Sdn Bhd
G07 Ground Floor, Digital Mall, No 2 Jalan 14/20 Section 14
46100
It seems that that their sales representative was located in house at Zitron office, so they ask me to directly talk to him. The answer he gave me was the warranty is useless unless I show the proof of purchase because the phone is registered under a Company name which I was unaware of. I said I loss the recept. So, they asked me to go back to the store and prove the goods belong to me.
- if the warranty card is not enough, it should stated in the card the recept should also be produced.
- I wanted to buy a brand new NOKIA phone under my name, under NOKIA warranty. So i checked the NOKIA store listings, specifically asked for a Authorized NOKIA product. Not some refurbished product.
Now my warranty is useless, and it is in the garbage bin of Zitron's office.
- NOKIA should inform potential buyers that they should check the status of the phone before buying them. Even if the store is listed in their website.
Now I am required to pay surcharge if i send my NOKIA for repair.]
[Phone model:E72]
[Mobile:XXXXXXX]
[Second Phone Number:]
[CPF Or CNJP identifier:]
[Province:]
[City:]
[IMEI:XXXXXXXXXX]
[Product code:]
[Operator:]
[Operating system:]
[Web browser:]
[Online shop order number:]
[Product software version:071.004]
[Maps application version:]
[Navigation licenses purchased:]
[Map data installed:]
[User ID/user name:]
[Service name:]
[Application name:]
[Application version:]
[Connection type:]
[PC Suite/Ovi Suite software version:]
[MS Communicator Mobile version number:]
[Social Networks version number:]

[addedon]September 7, 2011, 11:34 pm[/addedon]Its safe to say everything is my fault.... never thought things would be this difficult buying things...
