UniFi VIP5 frequent high pings/No Internet Access

Broadband provider
ISP/package: VIP5
Location: SS15 Subang Jaya
Have you called your ISP's helpline?: Yes

Personal equipment
Modem: D-Link DIR-615
Router: Huawei HG655A
Firewall used: default

Problem details
First occurence of problem: Since I moved in
Problem frequency: Everyday.
Problem description: During the day - Evening (before 6pm) everything is smooth (speedtest shows 4000kbps+). After 6pm-ish, in-game ping starts to jump from 300-2400 (Dota2 SEA server) and the lag is unbearable (speedtest shows between 200kbps - 2000kbps, but unstable). Second problem also around the same time, occasionally (3-4 times) there will be NO INTERNET ACCESS ( the exclamation mark ) and a restart would be required but within 5-10mins, it will disconnect again.

Attempted to use LAN cable to see if it works when WiFi shows "No Internet Access" but no luck, same result.

Staying in a rented house with probably 7 other users and 2 of them are my friends. Was considering several alternatives to this problem :

1) Apply streamyx 4mbps and share among us 3 people. (Need to know if streaming will cause gaming lag, not PPS)
Subject to owner's approval and whether 1 house can use UniFi and Streamyx together.
2) Change the UniFi BTU & Modem to another one (buy ownself, but does it solve the problem?)
3) Using Powerline Adapter (whether it be with UniFi or streamyx, because it has better performance)

Please please help out as sometimes i cant even do homework or go on facebook. Any solutions and advise on the above stated solutions? Thank you in advance.

Internet Access is shown, but no data.

Okay so this morning 10am, i wake up to find that my downloads were put on hold. So i checked the little icon on the toolbar for internet access and it says that there is access. Then i pick up my house phone to try and call TM, but the dial tone just wont get through ( got dial tone, but dial number that time it wont make the call ) So i left it there and went out only to notice TM workers were doing some maintenance just outside my housing area.

Using lan cable for internet. Splitter from the pole's cable to the phone and modem.

When i came back @ 4pm-ish, still had the same problem.

Tried direct connecting the cable to the modem (without phone, using lan) still didnt work.
Tried connecting straight to phone only, didnt work.
Tried basically all connecting methods and none of them worked.

Finally decided to plug in wireless usb and my internet connection came back, but not my phone. Called TM said they'll make a report.

Any idea whats causing the problem?

Would like a solution that enables me to use back my LAN & my house phone.

Swapping Linksys Router with Streamyx's Innacomm

Yesterday I got streamyx installed in my new house, the RM110 package @ 1mbps. They provide a free modem which is an Innacomm branded one. I have a brand new unused Linksys WAG120N sitting on my table and I'd like to use that modem instead. But the technician who setup the connection in my house told me not to touch any settings on the Innacomm modem ( like changing the password and name ) for 2 weeks.

I would like to know if i can just plug out the streamyx one and then use my linksys one. Would that affect anything? If in the case that my linksys WAG120N has some problems and i would like to change back to the Innacomm modem, would the settings 'lari' ?

*reason why i dont want to use the Innacomm modem : Just dont feel right with the malaysian made brand*

Any advise would be appreciated. Thank you.
