HSM and PCI DSS

As shown in the topic, HSM refers to (Hierarchical Storage Management) and PCI DSS refers to (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard)

Currently I have a SG based client that want to sell product online, and want to implement the direct payment gateway with DBS bank..
Before that, the bank sent a list of items for them to comply with in order to get approval from the bank... I just took few of them here

Question from DBS Bank to my client
1. Is the data protected using a Hierarchical Storage Management (HSM)? No/Yes
2. What encryption means is used to protect the data if HSM is not used? ________________________
3. ALL merchants are required to comply with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). Are you PCI DSS compliant?
( ) Yes, attached is copy of our PCI DSS certificate
( ) No, our target date to comply_____________

* A bit confused with the encryption method they meant..which cover the database too?
I am sure HSM is not used by us, as it may be an enterprise level method to do data backup and transfer.. (correct me if i am wrong)

* And for the PCI DSS, how can I assist the client to comply with the standards? I had google some, does that mean that I have to do the assesment by ourself and submit to the bank? As the question asking about PCI DSS certificate...

Can someone advise me, I am a little lost at here... Thanks so much!

Please give me a rough quotation (normally how do you charge) and the timeline(how long you need) for the below features, regardless which CMS engine you will be using.

· Sub menu (dropdown)

· Static or multiple banners
