ASUS GL752VW-T4146t Future expandability

Been looking for a 17" laptop with RM4.2k budget and it seems to me like the ASUS G752VW-T4146t is the best option for a decent GTX card, i7-6700HQ. The t4146t variation is the lower-end variant which explains the RM4k price tag == i.e. GTX 960M only, 4gb ddr4 ram and no SSD.

However, my question is would this be a suitable choice to upgrade RAM and SSD in the future? I know that it comes with M.2. slot and ram upgradable up to 32gb.

What are your thoughts, is there a better option for a 17" w/ i7-6700hq and GTX960m around the same price tag with the option to upgrade ram/ssd?

p/s I should probably add that, if you were to recommend an alternative; please note the following for my personal priority:
- No concern for battery life (i'll have this plugged-in at least 90% of the time)
- Price per performance dollar in mind
- 17" must
- i7-6700HQ at least

Planning to invest in some serious sunnies!

Much appreciated!
