FAILED ENTREPRENEUR! Come In..

Just like what the title described, we have a lot of discussion in relation to potential business, struggle with income and expenses and the thought of opening and running business to change for the better. Like most that tried, many failed and succumbed to failure to which some have resorted running back to existing 9to5 worklife.

Platform like dropship, food trucks and Ride-sharing businesses have given opportunity to many looking for temporary life support in our expanses while waiting for other opportunity to arise. As much as it is, its no way a long term sustainable platform anymore for those late comers and any new ideas or concepts tend not to last before being obsolete, leaving owners srtruggling to even break-even on the investment.

Although this may not be the case for all, it is to the majority. We hear Lots of vent in frustration and panic when economy aren't lively as how it used to be and discussion over job security, salary and income tend to be quite critical now.

What this can provide is for us to read, learn and understand from others in areas that have failed. Probably gives better insight to those plannning to start on the do and don't. But this can also be an opportunity for hunters looking to invest in areas that may have failed due to insufficient capital; opportunity to re-start and finding candidates and partners with streetwise capability; where in most cases... not listed on resume.

The more you share, the more we understand and the more others know your potential. Not due to the failure you've gone through, but the potential you have that could be channeled in areas that can be a success.

As for me, I'm an investor. I run several businesses and have been looking for opportunity to invest in niche areas if exist. Also, looking for candidates not from what qualification they have... but what they can contribute from the experience they have.

WAR OF THE RINGS (Board Game)

Intro: Had this baby for a while now. Was a hobby once and collected quite a few board games myself. But for this particular one, I haven't tried it yet and it looked complicated. Been keeping it for years ... and the furthest I've gone is setting the board up one night (few hours I think, while reading the manual slowly ) and left it on the table. Next morning, Maid came and kept it all back. Never touched it since.

My Offer: To those that knows how to play and would like to set one game up, I have the game board with me.

All,

I'm currently looking into combining 2x 50Mbps Unifi Setup subscribe from Home and then connect it to the "Ubiquity" P2P Backhaul/Etc... to my Workplace (which is about 1KM away) and have the other side installed a Wifi-Router that would then give the Wifi 100Mbps Capability.

I need some help if anyone have done anything similar before?

Sample Design Flow

2 x Unifi 50 Mbps -- 2 x Unifi Router -- (Load Balancing Router) -- (Ubiquity P2P Bridge) >>1KM>> (Ubiquity P2P Bridge) -- (Ubiquity AP) -- Wifi to Users

*Ubiquity is not compulsory. Just a sample model used for explanation.

It's best if the Load Balancing Router is capable of supporting 4x50Mbps for future expansion.

Appreciate any suggestion and experience sharing on this matter.

Construction Work in Sandakan (500k Value)

Hi,

I've gotten my hands on a minor repair work consisting of 30-40 houses in Sandakan to which mostly are double storey link terrace house (low cost).

Areas of work: Flooring, Tiles, Pintu/Tingkap (Replacement to Alluminium and Install Grill), Fix of piping and water tank (if necessary), repair works of all kitchen(wiring, plumbing, tiles, flooring, wall, etc...), Siling second floor, Repair and patch broken/leaking roof, gutter, lighting and rewiring, replacement of switches, ceiling fans, sockets, gate & pagar.

The way they issue to PO which later we have to re-do the BQ ourselves is messy. However, basic understanding is just fixing of the existing house currently occupied (which they've instructed the people to relocate temporarily).

Sorry for the mix of language ... kinda lost myself.

Ok...

1. I need to know if I can get a credit terms from hardware or manufacturer of these suppliers to execute the work there?
2. I've engaged a subcon in Sabah to get the job done however, he's unaware of any potential credit terms on the purchase of material (new fella)....
3. Project is estimated to be around 10-12k per house worth of repair.
4. About 350-500k worth of job to be done.
5. Dateline between 3 months.

Patch work and make it look nice again type of work.
