Custom SLR Glide Strap + C-Loop Combo

Link : Review > Custom SLR Glide Strap + C-Loop Combo
(Written by my friend and I, just copied my part here. Head on to the link above for more pictures and his say as well!)

First of all, alot of thanks to Custom SLR for making this all possible for us. Check their website out, Custom SLR. They have of course, the C-Loop , the Glide Strap and loads of other stuffs for sale.

Are you one of those people who thinks that the camera strap is in the way when you’re taking vertical pictures? Meet C-Loop. A neat little attachment that is attached to the tripod mount. What does it do? Instead of tying your favourite awesome camera strap onto the camera, you’re tying it to this aluminium which swivels. Afraid you might scratch the bottom of your camera? It comes with i’m-not-sure-what material washer, which is soft so it dampens when you screw it to your camera too tightly.

+ Eliminates funny dslr placing when you leave it hanging.
+ Swivel around, much more easier to maneuver around crowds.
+ No more awkward camera strap blocking whenever taking vertical shots.
+ Aluminium looks matte like, cool factor.
- Squeeky sound, probably still new.
- Whenever you need to use a monopod and tripod, you need to detach it. (Minor issue, cause Custom SLR is cooking something up to counter this!)

When there was a first digital still camera (Sony DSC-HX1) in the house, the strap was quickly replaced by a third party one. I’m never a big fan of the camera straps that comes with the camera, as I know it’s poorly made and it hurts like hell when you’re strapping it for a long time (Shooting non stop for an annual dinner with a Nikon D90, 18-105mm and Nikon SB-900). Seriously, I thought I’ll never need to replace my Crumpler’s Industry Disgrace. I even gone as far as to convince my friends that the Crumpler’s Industry Disgrace is the best ever! Well damnit, I can tell you I’m wrong. Super wrong. The Glide Strap is designed to make it easier for a user to pull the camera from the side like a rifle. It’s so much easier compared to the Industry Disgrace as the Glide Strap is really made and meant for that. What about the padding that rest on your shoulder/neck? It’s made of neoprene, a really thick layer and there’s a small cut in the middle to allow it to shift around to match your shoulder/neck and also acts as an ventilation. I’m lugging my Nikon D7000 around with the 18-105mm around for probably about hours and I can tell you, it’s comfortable, you barely feel it’s there and the best part is that it doesn’t really soak up your sweat. It’s properly padded yet ventilated strap!

+ Smooth rifle action for quick shots.
+ All the buckles that comes with it, solid as hell plastic material.
+ Neoprene padding, 6mm thick to cushion all the heavy gear.
+ Interchangable buckle, if you have more than 1 camera.
+ Silicone Logo printed on the inside of the neoprene padding to reduce any whoops or oops.
+ Stitching is amazing, been using for a week and more and there’s no loose threads.
+ Sweet combo with the C-Loop.
- I can’t find any yet, it’s probably the best strap for me now.

Will VIP 5 be sufficient?

Hello and good day comrades.

I would like to have some opinions before I make the move. I couldn't find any thread anywhere, that could cater to my question. (if there's any please point me to one thanks)

I will have a total of:
03 smart phones
03 tablets (01 for now)
02 desktops (01 for now)
03 laptops (02 for now)

Which will be connected to the internet, surfing intensively and streaming videos and gaming. Will the above, VIP 5 be enough?

And I've read in the top 10 things you should know about UniFI:
This service is a 24- month contract and a termination fee of RM500 is chargeable for termination of service within the contract period.

Does upgrading my existing line, say I subscribed to VIP 5 and I feel it's not enough, to probably VIP 10 will it be counted as termination?

Thank you so much in advance.

Hello and good day.
No idea where to put this but I do want to voice my concern.

I recently bought these 2 headsets for a price of MDR-Z700DJ (MYR72.00) & MDR-XD900 (MYR85.00)
As the price was so cheap, I'm having doubts before the guy convinced me they are original.
When I got home, did a quick search and noticed that they weren't the original as the MDR-Z700DJ is suppose to be MDR-V700?
Did a search too for MDR-XD900 and it didn't bring any solid results that it's fake.
I bought these 2 headsets from this music center in Tropicana Life Mall.

Now, how am I going to return these products and tell them that they are fake or anything?
Should I bring to Sony Centre to verify these product?
Both headsets doesn't have any SONY word written on the headband.
They are selling the Pioneer HDJ-1000DJ for MYR98.00.
The salesman said that their boss is very kind to their customers, they won't overcharge their stuffs like other music shop, by him saying that, I got hooked on his bait.
When I asked him about warranty card or anything, he said that they directly bring these products in, so there's no such thing.

Thank you to everyone in advance, these replica/fake might be as good as the original but I prefer to buy original products.
Thank you again for reading such long note.

Budget around MYR 3k +-

Hello and good day to everyone.
It's that time which I have to throw my old rig ( P4 2.4c, Mushkin Blackline DDR400 512mb, Abit IC-7, 9500 softmoded 9700 ) and get a new one.

So right now, here's the lineup which I came up with :

C2D 8400
DFI DK P45-T2RS+ vs Biostar Tpower I45
Mushkin XP2-6400 2x2GB
Seagate 500GB SATA
Gainward 4850 GS 1GB vs Gainward 4850 GS 512MB
DVDRW
Cooler Master CM-690
OCZ Game X Stream 500W vs other PSU?

It sums up to almost MYR 3.2k. Doing some O/C and gaming. The most headache part for me is choosing the right motherboard, PSU and the graphic card. I'll be sticking to Mushkin or should I change it? (Been using that legendary BH-5 chipset RAM so I just love Mushkin hopefully don't need to swap it for other brand)

So comrades, I hope you guys could help me with this. Will be getting this PC this week if everything goes well. Thank you very much. Oh, if this topic seems like a repeat, I'm really sorry.

Use your skills, magic, and army to achieve the ultimate goal -- to become the most powerful mage in Terra!

A game that requires 15 minutes day to play...
but is so addictive you'll want to play all day!

Versions of this game have been around for over 10 years, starting with the original Archmage.
This 'reincarnation' has been online since 2004.

We currently have three live servers, each with slightly different rules. We also have a beta server, established to test new code and address balance issues before introducing changes to the full live servers. The Reincarnation is played by a community of players from all over the world. You can find them any time, any day on the universal bulletin board, supporting guild sites, chat rooms, or perhaps assaulting your kingdom.
Telekom/Streamyx Problem?

Broadband provider
ISP/package: Streamyx Basic 1.0M (Without Modem) - RM88
Location: Serdang Raya
Have you called your ISP's helpline?: Yes

Personal equipment
Modem: Aztech Modem
Router: None
Firewall used: -

Problem details
First occurence of problem: After registration
Problem frequency: Since registration
Problem description: No idea, need help on this

Here's what I e-mailed them. I wonder what do you guys think? Wanna try helping me on this? The only reply I got from them is which I think the automated confirmation reply that they received my email, nothing more than that. No confirmation about my line, if it's working or not if repairs been made and stuffs like that.

QUOTE

I used to have a streamyx account almost 2 years back and had it terminated and paid off everything. Recently I decided to register for streamyx and I did. Before this account was made, I was told by Myke my streamyx registration can't be made because my old streamyx account was still active and I need to make a cancellation on 0389436608. I went to TM Point in PJ State to make a cancellation and it was successful. The registration was successful as well after that. All these happened 2-3 days before the above registration date.

Upon receiving the parcel on Friday November 03rd, I was told by Myke the agent not to activate the account until the DSL light on the modem is stable. (A week before registering for streamyx i took out my old modem to try to see if the DSL light was stable and it was). The whole Friday afternoon until evening I couldn't get a stable DSL light and decided to ring the technician service representative (0326870111, this number was given to me by Myke). I tried to activate my account using SMS but it says server is busy using the same number as above, 0163315156. Anyway, the representative told me to activate my account first so that the DSL light would be stable. It is the totally opposite of what Myke told me and she also added that upon receiving the parcel, I must wait for 2-3 days before activating it. She ask me to call back on Monday November 06th. So I called back (0326870111) on Monday and activate my account, taking her words for it but the representative on that day told me my account was activated by SMS on Friday, November 03rd. On that day, Monday November 06th, the DSL light was still not stable and I asked what's the problem and was told to plug it into the wall jack without the splitter and wait for 5 minutes and call them back if the light is still not stable again. I did as told and it's still blinking. Called back the number and the representative asked me to wait for a few days to see if it's still blinking.

On Wednesday November 08th I called the same number again (0326870111). The DSL light was still blinking. They arranged a technician to meet me on Friday 12pm. Friday November 10th. Friday November 10th the technician said he will reach my place at 1pm and he did. He used his modem to check and his modem is DSL light was still blinking as well. He then went behind my house and check the telephone pole which he then told me that my number 0389436608 has 2 out or something like that. The 2nd one which was my ex-alarm system which no longer active so he took it off and tried again with his modem. The DSL light is still blinking. He then came to a conclusion saying that the modem could detect the signal and it was weak that's why it's still blinking and couldn't get a stable connection. After what he did, both my lines (0389436608 and 0389436609) are still fine, have tones when picked up. They are both seperate phone lines and not parallel. He also said that he will lodge a report to Telekom to assist in this matter.

Saturday November 11th I called that streamyx technician that came to my house to ask how is things coming to. He said that he already lodge the report and it will take Telekom about 1-2 days to fix everything. Monday November 13th my DSL light on the modem is still blinking. Tuesday November 14th my DSL light is still blinking and I call the streamyx technician that came to my house. He told me that the Telekom technician told him (streamyx technician) that my copper line from my house to the port station is too old and can't be fixed and it is over 7km and ask me to cancel my streamyx account. I asked if there's any ways to solve it. He told me that Telekom will not fix it and request that I should call 1300889515 and request for technical assistance. I called and I told technical assistance representative about my problems and he replied that he will lodge a report to Telekom and request to change the copper wire for me. I asked if the Telekom will really do it and the technical assistance representative hesitated and gave me "they (Telekom) will probably do it, sir".
