Hi there, i am in need of some advice.

I have recently bought some shares of RIO.AX in australia for around 70AUD. The following day there was a sudden drop of price to around 50AUD. After some reading, i learned it was because of some right issues that were being traded. They are said to be trading at around 28AUD. I read that "Under the offer, 21 new Rio Tinto shares will be offered for every 40 existing shares, at a subscription price of $28.29 each, which reflects a 57.7 per cent discount."

What do you think i should do?

If i dont buy the rights issue, does the value of my stock drop from its purchased price of 70 to the current price of around 50? Or will i be receiving more units from my initial purchase? I am quite confused about this rights issue thing and could use some clarification.

Additionally, if i decide to buy the rights issue, how do i go about doing it? Do i buy it directly from RIO or from the australian stock market ASX (RIOR.AX)

here is my story.. hopefully you all can give some of your opinion after reading it..

my best female friend is also my course mate in uni. we have gotten really close over the past couple of months. recently she came over to my room to stay the night a couple of times. we usually end up watching some movie then talking on the bed till around 4am before we sleep. while sleeping she will kinda cuddle herself around me. i accept it and will usually but my arm around her too. our faces are like 2 inches away and we can feel each other breathing... so far i havent done anything beyond this. is she waiting for me to make my move??

so far everything else she has initiated. - she came to sleep at my place - she cuddled herself around me...

i am just afraid of losing my best female friend and also my class mate which i will have to see everyday for the next few years.

Hi guys,

I put this together earlier today. Its basically an savings/investment guide.

Here are the assumptions that i made in this file:
- starts with a salary of RM4000
- salary increase 7% per year
- rate of return is 10% per year throughout
- 30% of his income is invested, the rest he/she spends.
- 0% tax

I am not a business/finance student and have never taken any business/finance subject in my life so i just made this thing based on my judgment.

So there is this girl who is my classmate. Recently we have become rather close friends. A couple of our classmates even ask us if we had hooked up.

Anyways, a couple weeks ago when we went for karaoke with a few of her friends, she like asked me to lower my shoulder and then she rest her head on it. She also ask me to give her a neck massage.
Last week we went to cameron highlands with a few friends. We were all drinking and i had a bit too much to drink. My friends took some pictures of me when i was high. In these pics i often had my arms around this girl. So the following day i smsed her and said that i was sorry if i went overboard. She replied that she didnt feel uncomfortable with what i had done.

Does all this stuff mean that she is somewhat interested in me? Or is she just being friendly?

What will be level of difficulty be in finding a job here?

btw, just double checking, you first polish the car then only wax it right? how often do you guys do this? more than twice a year?

corrupted ipod nano firmware :(

i need some help. my ipod firmware is corrupted. i tried to format it then reinstall the latest firmware but itunes still says that is it corrupted. i dont know what else i should do.... anyone encounter this problem?? should i just send it over to an apple center and get them to fix it??
