any brand to recommend?? right now, maybe i will stick to my current gpu brand which is evga.

[WTA] How to install nvidia drivers

I currently use the old nvidia version (driver), but i want to change it to the new/latest version. the problem is some said i need to uninstall it or remove the older one completely from my laptop. but some said it's ok to install it without remove it because it will automatically replace the driver with the latest one. so which one should i follow. i really need your guys advice.
