Hi guys, I'm here to initiate an audition round for CopperColour interconnect, it's easy and almost cost ZERO to participate!

PENNY II RCA-RCA Interconnect

1st Anniversary RCA-RCA Interconnect

Sorry for the bad quality photo, taken with my bad handphone cam due to digicam breaks down

Products:
1. Coppercolour 1st Anniversary RCA-RCA Interconnect --> Similiar tonal and sound quality as the award winning Van den Hul D102MKIII with more refined highs and mids, with just less than 1/2 of local factory terminated Van den Hul D102MKIII pricetag

So you got the chance to test 2 different interconnect at one time!!!

Requirement:
1. We suggest using the VIBRAPOD Sandwich with Tube amplifiers or any component that runs hot.

Q. Can I place my VIBRAPOD Isolators and Cones in groups?
A. We don’t recommend CLOSE triangular formations where they touch.

Q. Can I replace the feet that are on my component with VIBRAPOD Isolators and Cones?
A. Yes, but please check with your dealer for proper installation.

Q. Can I use VIBRAPOD Isolators and Cones in conjunction with air isolation devices?
A. Yes, but VIBRAPOD Isolators may not work in conjunction with an air isolation device. VIBRAPOD Cones may be used with an air isolation device.

Q. Can I use VIBRAPOD Isolators and Cones under rugs or carpet?
A. VIBRAPOD Isolators and Cones were not designed for use under carpets or rugs.

Q. Can VIBRAPOD Isolators and Cones be used in between components?
A. Yes. Use either the Model 3, 4 or 5 VIBRAPOD Isolators under the bottom component and use enough to support the combined weight of the stacked components. We do not recommend stacking components.

Q. Can I put VIBRAPOD Isolators and Cones under my speakers?
A. Yes. We have always felt that tall thin speakers were not a good match with VIBRAPOD Isolators as they could be easily knocked over.

Q. How do I place the VIBRAPOD Isolators and Cones under my equipment?
A. It is easiest placing VIBRAPOD Isolators using some 3/4 " wood blocks under the sides of your equipment and then sliding the VIBRAPOD Isolators in using a long spoon or fork. They will slide easiest with the Dome facing up. VIBRAPOD Cones are easiest placed by hand and require a taller block.
A combination of VIBRAPOD Isolators and VIBRAPOD Cones are approximately 1 1/2" tall. Several small pieces or a 2x4 will work well for raising your component.

Q. My VIBRAPOD Isolators look slightly squished when in place. Does this mean that they are no longer isolating?
A. VIBRAPOD Isolators should be 'loaded' or under some pressure for best isolation. They should not be flattened but a deformation of the Dome is normal.

Q. I have put too much weight on my VIBRAPOD Isolators or Cones and they are squashed. Is there any way to fix this?
A. Yes. Place the squashed VIBRAPOD Isolators on a flat cookie sheet and bake in an oven at 175° to 200° F ( 80° to 94° C) for at least 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and place in a safe area away from children until they have cooled. You may want to wait several hours for them to return to their normal consistency before putting them back in service.

Q. The VIBRAPOD Isolators came looking slightly out of round from the dealer. Are these ok?
A. Yes, and you may want to do the same to these VIBRAPOD Isolators as in the answer above.

We also sell VIBRAPOD Isolators in 4 Packs that help keep their shape during shipping.

DO NOT MICROWAVE.

Any users here? Bump into this few weeks ago and recently join discussion with forummer Jemmi regarding this award winning accessories, and lucky enough to get a good price from distributor ... thus kick start a bulk Personally never venture into vibration isolator, and so would like to seek some direction from current users, especially regarding the isolators placement Although it's my first encounter with vibration isolator, but I'm quite believe in this idea cos last time before I place a book under my Aego 2 satellite, I could feel the slight vibration on the table, after I place a book under the satellite, the vibration reduces alot!
SoundMAGIC IEM Appreciation Thread

Personally owned three of SoundMAGIC IEM -- PL30, PL20 and PL11 But most of the time using PL20 for my jogging and workup cos of it's better isolation and wearing comfort than PL30

PL30 and PL20 tonal wise ... sound quality wise is almost the same with PL30 offer slightly airier and wider soundstage presentation. While PL11 offer me some bass kick when I needed some drive during my jogging Between these 3 IEM, PL11's after burn in improvement kinda the most, I usually experience these kind of positive reward with bass oriented IEM

IMHO SoundMAGIC kinda provide the best bang for buck value and decent sound quality under RM100 Experience it yourself ...

What about other says about SoundMAGIC?

REVIEWS:

QUOTE

ClieOS - headfi's famous IEM review writer. Comments on PL20 - SOURCE

Variation: N/A
Transducer: Single 9mm Dynamic
Spec: 12Ω (@1kHz) | 20Hz~ 22kHz | 94dB SPL
Cord Style: Ч-cord, 1.20m.
Mini Jack Style: {┃} style, light build.
Eartips Used: Bi-flange

Physical Properties:
┣ Packaging: ★★★☆
┣ Accessories: ★★★☆
┣ Build Quality: ★★★
┣ Isolation: ★★★
┣ Microphonics: ★★★★
┣ Comfort: ★★★★★
┗ Quick Sum: Unlike its bigger brother PL30, PL20 comes in a more inconspicuous package. Most of the accessories in the PL30 are in here as well,
but there is no hard case. Instead you get a soft pouch. Build quality is typical of SoundMAGIC - decent but care will be needed to last.
PL20's isolation is better than PL30, which is no surprising since PL20's design is more conventional.
What is unexpected is how the very little microphonics the cable has.

Sound Quality:
┣ Treble: ★★★
┣ Mid: ★★★
┣ Bass: ★★☆
┣ Soundstage: ▆ ▄ ▂ ▂ ▂ ▄ ▆ [Good / Average]
┣ ABF: [Low]
┣ Overall SQ: [ 2.4 / 5]
┗ Quick Sum: The overall sound signature is balanced with a little bit of warmness, good on treble and mid but bass light. Not as airy / spacious as PL30's presentation
but acceptable soundstage.

Overall Value: [ 4.3 / 5] - US$13~18 (price depends on dealer)
Final Remark: PL20 is by all means not a bad IEM for its price. It is a little step down on SQ in comparison to PL30. However, its (still) decent SQ,
cheaper price and better fit / isolation make it a good inexpensive back up. For those who wish to know, PL20 also pair quite well with FiiO E3 but
there is the suggestion of very faint hiss when silence.

QUOTE(catsper @ Mar 27 2009, 02:11 PM)

Soundmagic PL20 received in good condition. BOO is all I can say. First they have the J cord. Boo
I put them into my clip and where is the super bass. Boo there is none at all.
They have no sound stage. Boo. Now I know these were only 10.00 but they are not worth even that.
I then put on my moded PL-30 and wow lots of bass with a large sound stage for only 10.00 more. They should call the PL-30 super bass.
LOL. Sorry folks but the PL-11 are loseres big time and I hope the other 10.00 PLs are way better but I have a feeling they are not.
You just cant go wrong with the PL-30 even for 50.00 but 29.00 at head direct.
One good thing though. they come with lots of tips and a clip with a cord winder and nice bag.
The tips have a bi-flange that is bigger than the ones that came with the PL-30 and I am useing them on my PL-30.
I am burning the PL-11 in for a good 50 hours for some strange reason. lol

AFTER BURN IN
OK Its been about 8 hours burn in and boy what a difference. The bass has come out by lots and there are very good highs and mids.
Now they have more bass than my PL-30 but I had to go through many different tips and found that the very small tips works best for me.
I normally use much bigger tips on my PL-30. I will give these 100 hour burn in if needed and will check on them every 8 hours.

Accessories is about the same as PL20 - eartips (3 sized), Shure olive style foam tips, shirt clip, silicone cable warp, and a soft pouch. The earpieces has better isolation than those previously reviewed SoundMAGIC's but microphonics is also more of an issue. You probably will need to use the included shirt clip.

Sound Quality:
┣ Treble: ★★☆
┣ Mid: ★★★
┣ Bass: ★★★
┣ Soundstage: ▄ ▂ ▂ ▂ ▂ ▂ ▄ [Small / Acceptable]
┣ ABF: [Low]
┣ Overall SQ: [ 2.4 / 5]
┗ Quick Sum: The overall sound signature is on the warm side with big bass. Treble is actually as good as PL20 but fine detail tend to get flooded by the bigger bass. Mid performance is also on par on PL20, but doesn't suffer the bass flooding issue. Due to the lost of fine detail, soundstage isn't as wide as PL20, but overall acceptable. In a way, you can say PL11 is bass enhanced PL20. If you want big bass, PL11 is the one for you.

Overall Value: [ 4.3 / 5] - US$13~18 (price depends on dealer)
Final Remark: Like PL20, PL11 is another very decent IEM of its price. It seems SoundMAGIC really has a strong point at making affordable good budget class IEM. You simply can't go wrong with any of its product - all you need to do is to figure out which IEM has the right sound signature you are looking for.

QUOTE(ClieOS @ Apr 30 2009, 05:32 PM)

PL11 is miles ahead of EP-630.

....Yes, I do mean 'miles ahead'.

SOURCE

QUOTE(ClieOS @ Apr 30 2009, 07:28 PM)

PL11 has better bass (unlike the muddy bloated bass of EP-630), better mid (sweet and well define), much better treble (lacking in EP-630), slightly better soundstage, and better accessories. The only up side about EP-630 is the cable quality (not a big problem if you take care of PL11) and the slightly smaller earpieces (not really that small anyway)

Like I said, miles ahead.

SOURCE

USERS' REVIEWS:

QUOTE(CR9 @ May 25 2009, 01:23 PM)

item received...very good seller...

the pl-11 is very nice...excellent performance with its price..i cant seem to find any other earphone with this price range that can give this kind of sq...absolutely great purchase..

the only downside for me is in finding the suitable eartips (but this is personal aspect)..

thanks bro

p.s i hv bought ep-630 at the same time and burned in them both for the same hours and pl-11 truly emerged as the better one

QUOTE(catsper @ Mar 27 2009, 02:11 PM)

Soundmagic PL20 received in good condition.
