Air-Con Problems

I got 2 ACs having problem, contact air-cons guys come to check..after 2 hours say gas empty. They wash the AC & do full refill. Charge me for services & gas.
After sometimes, AC not cool again, ask the air-cons guys to come again check, this time say maybe copper pipe leakage cut by grass cutter (ground flr rooms), need to change whole pipe.
Should they charge me more or should be FOC since I already paid them on 1st visit to solve the problem? They say if I did not let them do, checking fee is RM50 per AC.

Almost all wine broker there is white people..from UK, Germany etc.
Tell your friend it is scam, don't ever invest a single cent..don't even attend (they will say wine out of stock & give you nothing)

MALAYSIA's palm oil exports for the year are expected to shrink 10 per cent from last year's record high of RM80.4 billion, as palm oil prices had been on a downtrend as a result of Indonesian government's restructuring of its palm oil taxes to woo more investments in its downstream activities.

"There will be a shortfall from last year's since palm oil prices have fallen," said Plantation Industries and Commodities Minister Tan Sri Bernard Dompok.

In the first nine months of this year, the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) reported that the country had shipped out RM53.98 billion worth of palm oil products.

Since October 2011, the Indonesian government had widened the export tax gap between crude palm oil (CPO) export and refined products drastically to boost refining capacity and downstream activities. As a result, crude palm oil and crude palm kernel oil prices had been on a downtrend.

The minister was speaking to reporters at the Palm Oil Trade Seminar (POTS) Kuala Lumpur organised by the Malaysian Palm Oil Council (MPOC) here yesterday. Also present at the press conference was MPOC chairman Datuk Lee Yeow Chor.

PETALING JAYA (Aug 26, 2012): Local authorities which have "bought into" the federal government's solid waste privatisation deal, cannot terminate the services of appointed contractors on their own.

"Local authorities have no say in hiring or firing the contractors appointed by the Solid Waste Management and Public Cleansing Corporation (PPSPPA)," its CEO Datuk Zaini Md Nor told theSun today.

He said under the Solid Waste and Urban Cleansing Management Act 2007 (Act 672), the contract for services is between PPSPPA and the contractors.

The Act, which was enforced on Sept 1, 2011, gives the federal government executive authority in respect of solid waste and public cleansing via privatisation contracts, with the PPSPPA as the overseeing regulatory body.

Local authorities are not signatories to the appointment of contractors and can only get them dismissed through the corporation.

Commenting on the action by the Kangar Municipal Council to "terminate" the services of a contractor, Zaini said the local authority had no legal standing to do so.

Citing breaches of services, the Kangar council had on Thursday announced that it was terminating the services of Environment Idaman Sdn Bhd (Env Idaman).

"Except in the states of Selangor, Penang and Perak, the contract for solid waste disposal in all other states is between the federal government and the contractor.

"Termination of the services of the contractor is the power of the corporation, not the local municipal council," said Zaini.

The three contractors appointed by the government are Environment Idaman Sdn Bhd (Env Idaman), Alam Flora Sdn Bhd and Southern Waste Management Sdn Bhd.

Zaini said the council should have written an official complaint to PPSPPA instead of abruptly deciding to "fire" Env Idaman.

"The council should have complained to us in writing that it was unhappy with Env Idaman's performance.

However, Zaini hoped the matter can be resolved amicably between the state government, Env Idaman and the corporation soon.

"We are meeting tomorrow (Monday) morning to discuss this amicably. I don't want us to 'gaduh-gaduh' (quarrel) because the people will suffer in the end," he added.

In a statement today, Env Idaman CEO Saiful Annuar Zainal said the company has complied with the terms and conditions of its contract and met the stringent KPIs set out by the government.

"It is business as usual for us. In fact, we have continued with our waste collection activities but unfortunately the council has issued an order today to stop all our compactors and other trucks from entering their landfill for final disposal of waste," he said.

He explained that the alleged "breaches" between Sept 2011 and June 2012 appeared to be so because services were only gauged against a transitional KPI, as the full KPIs was to be implemented only from Sept 1.

Meanwhile, Perlis Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Md Isa Sabu told reporters the council had taken the action to terminate the services of the contractor because it had left uncollected heaps of refuse after the Hari Raya.

"The council president (Rosley Mat) was disappointed with the uncollected refuse as many quarters had blamed the council for the heaps of uncollected rubbish all over Kangar, although the service had been outsourced," he said.

The council then decided to terminate the company's services although it has a 22-year contract for refuse collection and public cleansing, of which it has completed three years.

Md Isa however hopes the meeting today would resolve the conflict between the contractor and the council which had barred the company's lorries from entering the landfill at Padang Siding.

He said he had for now asked council to allow the contractor's lorries to enter the landfill and unload refuse.
