Starting a webbased biz

Dear fellow good forrumers,

A very good evening to all of you. Im starting a web based biz like facebook, mudah, and such. What are the procedures that I have to take to start the biz?

As I know, compared to web based biz, if doing business in the real world, we need to apply for lesen and other documentation from the government. What about web based business? Where do I register and the legal thing to go through?

Any advice are appreciatedin advance.

When attending a networking session alone, example you are only representative of the company.

How to attack a group of people discussing and join them? Cos usually they already know each other and u r solo very difficult to attack.

I have rm20k+ cash. Im thinkng in set up a kebab kiosk in shopping mall. Do you think is worth to generate income?

The 20k not include woker and ingredient fees. Just the initial set up of the stall like machine and stuff.

I will be taking a taxi to the airport and allowed to claim from my company provided I have the receipt. I would like to those who are frequeent taxi riders, does taxis have official receipt like their printed from a machine with their company name, time and other details? Or do they only use a general receipt book and write down the price?

A very good afternoon to all of you. I hope this message finds all of you, your families, relatives and friends in good health. First I would like to thank you for taking the time to read through my thread and offering your precious advice.

Some businessmen are selling off their business for whatever reasons they have. Some might be selling it off to expand to bigger business while some of them might be selling them off due to debts. Some might be selling them off because it is not profitable.

In light of this issue, I would like to seek advice from fellow businessmen here in this forum. When evaluating the potential of a business take over, what are the factors and strategies to look at? I am sure if the business is not doing well, the owners will still claim profit to sell off their business. Nobody is honest in the business world.

As a summary, how do we evaluate if a business for sale has potential or justa dying business?

To close this up, I would like to offer my sincere thanks to all of you.

Today I would like to seek your help in this topic "Durian". There are many people who loved durian. However, many others do not like it and equate it to 'Stinking socks'. For myself, I have never eaten duran for more than 10 years. Recently I have a friend who will be coming for a visit. He have never eaten durian before and just the 2 of us, we wont be able to finish the whole fruit. Im guessing he wont like it either so I would like to consult your expertise,

Are there any places that I can sample just 1 piece of durian in Penang?

Penang hill visit

A very good morning to all of you. In this lovely day, I would like to wish you, your families, relatives and friends all the best in your health and career. Today I would like to seek your help in this topic "Penang Hill". I know many of you have been there to enjoy the spectacular view of Penang and hence I would like to consult your expertise.

Recently, there have been many cases reported that Penang Hill tram is closed due to some maintenance issues like breakdown of the railway or cable. Its quite dangerous for visitors to ride halfway on the cable car and then malfunction so I am happy to hear that they take their time to repair the cable car before going on operation.

I plan to visit Penang Hill soon, and I would like to know if the cable car up to the top of Penang Hill is already operating? Also what are the time of operation? Im planning to visit on the evening hopefully I wll have enough time to go up and then back down.

So when the post man got to Jalan Jones, he read the Jalan Sehala and got confused. When he reached the address not knowing if it is the correct address, he took out a marker pen and added Jalan Sehala into the letter address before delivering it.

Where to bring Danes for dinner?

My colleague from Denmark will be down in Penang soon. I will bring them for dinner but Im not sure about their food preference. Anyone with experience or knowledge where to bring them?

I think they are much health concious so many of our local foods do not suit them such as char koay teow, curry mee, etc etc because of the oil.

DOnt wanna bring them to the wrong place. ANy suggestions? Prefereably Bayan Lepas area but others also ok like Gurney.

At first thought wanna bring them for local foods but scared they find it dirty or wat maybe restaurant will be a safer choice??

How much is the cheapest bicycle?

A very good morning to all of you. Hope this message finds all of you, your families, relatives, friends, co workers, boss and neigbours in good health. As for me, I am not in a good health today but I pray for all of you. It is a pleasure to be able to join in this comunity of energetic youngsters as well as wise senior people.

As you all know, Penang will be turning into a no car day in a mater of few days. Taking the opportunity, I would like to experience the thrill of cycling around in town without fear of being run down by cars and also relive the olden days where everybody cycles. Therefore, I would like to buy a cheap bicycle and drive all the way to town with my Perodua Viva and park somewhere in town then cycle around town with my bicycle.

I wish I have the money to get a much more expensive bicycle around rm1000 but currently my salary does not permit that. I can only afford maximum RM300. My little earning of RM2000 per month is divided into RM450 for food, rm100 for electric and water bills, RM 300 for rental and few ringgot for savings. Please advice me the best value buy and where I can get them.

Penang needs to be transparent

Lim, who is Penang Development Corporation (PDC) chairman, said civil action could be taken against the original building's architect, Khairil Faizi Abdul Majid, who has since been dismissed by his employer Pintar Daya Consultancy Sdn Bhd.

Bukit Bendera MCA division chief Tang Heap Seng said the architect, who acted on PDC's directive, should not be made the scapegoat.

“The process of the probe is not transparent too, as members of the Barisan component parties and residents association representatives were not included in the board,” he said yesterday.

Tang said the state government should not make decisions rashly without consulting more parties.

He also described Lim's decision to demolish the car park as unnecessary unless it was declared an unsafe structure.

In JOHOR BARU, Tourism Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ng Yen Yen said PDC is answerable for the project as the state-owned corporation was responsible for appointing the consultant and architect.

How to keep food hot for 6 hours?

A very good morning to all of you. It is a pleasure to be able to discuss with you in this good forum. Hope this message finds all of you in good health. Today is wednesday and only 2 moe days to go before the weekend. Now is 8.30 Im sure all of you already had your breakfast at home or will be going for your breakfast soon. Wishing all of you get a full and satisfying meal.

Today, I would like to discuss on food heating. I have a pack of nasi lemak from 7.30 and will be eating them during lunch which is around 12 pm. When it gets cold, it wont feel that nice anymore. I like to eat it hot. Do any of you know how I can keep the nasi lemak hot while in the packet? Maybe there is some kind of container that can keep food hot like thermal flask or something?
