Unable to locate missing HDD space

I've been using a 500gb seagate hdd as a secondary space for a couple of years now
suddenly my HDD filled up the free 30gb space for no apparent reason

I tried using apps like spacesniffer to locate the what has been eating up the space but it still shows that there are 30gb (431/465gb) available
but My Computer keep saying that the hardisk is full (only 4mb of free space)

anyone know how to solve this?

Anybody know why I can't seem to view video or games in full HD?

Intel i5 2320
Motherboard: Asus P8H67-M LE
Graphic: Asus EAH6570
Ram: 8gb
Monitor: Samsung SyncMaster SA350 23" (currently VGA connection but already tested with HDMI cable)

Desktop Specs Opinion

I'm currently thinking of getting a desktop mostly for work/assignments purposes. Most frequent software will be using is photoshop, sketchup, autocad, artlantis or any other 3D rendering software. And I also do some video editing and hardly any gaming. So I wonder if this specs is good enough or is there anything I should add/change?

Intel Core-i5-2310
Asus P8H67m motherboard
4gb DDR3 RAM
Intel 40gb SSD HDD
Asus 6570 1gb

This is roughly the specs given to me by the shop owner. Price roughly +/-RM2900 including monitor, casing, 500gb hardisk, keyboard+mouse,speaker.
So any suggestions?
