can astro pvr decoder works with one cable only?

hi, i have just moved to another house. in the old house i used astro byond pvr. the new place already has an astro dish but with one cable only. I tried using my pvr decoder at the new place, using only one cable but i cant get the signal. did i miss anything? i dont mind losing the dual channel capability. i just want to watch astro

anyway this is only temporary until we can get astro guy to move the whole thing to the new place

spiral notebooks with custom-printed cover

my younger sister went to the comic fiesta and she brought back home this spiral notebook that she bought from doujinshi groups. the cover of the notebook was printed with the group's own character.

i'm planning an event now, and i have this idea of selling notebooks with its cover having a design related to the event. so, i'm wondering where to order it from. does anyone know? preferably somewhere around shah alam/subang, but KL's fine too. thanx!

i'm organizing an event and i'm planning to sell spiral notebooks/notepads with something related to the event being printed on its cover as one of the merchandise. like those i saw in comic fiesta where these doujinshi groups sell - notepads with their own original characters on the cover. does anyone know where i can i order these custom-printed notepads? somewhere around shah alam/subang, preferably. thanx!

ok guys. i need some help here

i have a forum that is now hosted at 110mb.com. it's a free hosting site but i paid to use the mysql n sendmail fucntion

the forum is only 3 months old but it already has 500+ members with average post of 100 per day. for this month (october) it has used up 1GB of bandwidth and 200MB data space.

i'm planning to move my forum to other hosting site coz box14 of 110mb that is where my forum is hosted at is unstable. there's too many downtime. i think i've lost count how many the forum has been down since i first moved it to 110mb.com

n i'm looking forward to register a domain (.com) for my forum too. currently it's using 110mb's domain

i've tried looking around the Paid Web Hosting & Domain Registration Thread but i got confused since there are too many web hosting available. my budget is rm100 per year (domain + web hosting).

i'm using SMF for my forum, in case it's relevant.

what else..

so, what i'm looking for is:
- sufficient data space for a forum (is 5GB too much?)
- sufficient allocated bandwidth for a forum with >500 members from all over the world and a shoutbox
- a .com domain
- reliable uptime!
- compatibility with Simple Machine Forum
- help to move the forum, maybe? but i've moved the forum once from netfast to 110mb so i dont think it'll be a problem
- payment method: cimbclicks or paypal
- whatever else u think necessary

what it is used for:

The probs:

1. there's noise coming from the harddisk..i dont know how to describe the noise but it usually happens for a few minutes after i turn on the pc
2. lagging..hanging..things like dat..
3. if other computers are used to download big files (using download manager or torrent client), the internet connection will hang (or disconnect?) on all computers. sumtimes even the main pc will hang
4. (..i cant remember..i'll add later..huhu)

plz..plz..tell me what i hav to do so dat this pc wont lag or hang especially when other pc/lptop are connecting to internet through it..

DVD-RAM cannot read CDs

it seems like my DVD-RAM have sum probs in reading CDs..most of the times whether it cannot detect at all, or read VCD as blank CD or audio CD..can u help me wit dis?there's no prob wit DVD though..
the model is MATSHITA DVD-RAM UJ-850
